Woman Who Got Fired After Giving President Trump The Finger Wins VA Race After Districts Were Rigged

You may remember Juli Briskman. She was the woman who infamously went for a bike ride on October 29, 2017, and flipped off President Trump’s motorcade. Well, evidently Trump hatred pays off in Virginia. She was just elected supervisor for the Algonkian District in Loudoun County, Virginia. She encountered the president’s motorcade as he was leaving the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, VA in 2017 and gave him the one-finger salute. The mother, who said she became part of the online “resistance” against Trump soon after his 2016 election, flipped off the motorcade, twice. That cost Juli her job.

Briskman, an avowed feminist, used the incident to launch her bid for supervisor on September 12, 2018, noted CNN. “Today, I am filing my organizational papers in a bid for local office in Loudoun County, Va. Loudoun deserves transparency in government, fully funded schools & smarter solutions to growth,” Briskman posted to Twitter, linking to a Washington Post article about her flipping the bird. “It’s time for a change.”

“I am running to serve as Supervisor for the Algonkian District where I have worked, volunteered, organized and raised my kids in public schools. I have launched my campaign on [Crowdpac] because … if not now, when? Let’s Do this!” she added. Two months after that, HuffPo posted a video of Briskman reliving her glory as the cyclist who flipped off Trump.

“That picture is going to follow me for the rest of my life. And it’s my butt and my finger. But if that’s what this nation needs, I’m happy to be that person,” she stated in November 2018. “I didn’t think too much about it,” the Democrat said in reference to disrespecting the president. “It was a natural reaction.”

From The Daily Wire:

“Briskman bragged that she told her family about the display via a group text message right after the incident.

“I said, ‘Hey, guys, I just got to go past Donald Trump on my bike and I flipped him off.’ And of course my kids were like, ‘Oh, mom!’” she recalled.

“Briskman used the photo as her Facebook and Twitter cover pictures, she added.

“Not everyone was as amused as Briskman, however.

“Akima LLC, a government contractor she was working for at the time, canned Briskman in November 2017, as reported by The Daily Wire.

“They said, ‘We’re separating from you,’” Briskman told Huff Post, following the incident. “Basically, you cannot have ‘lewd’ or ‘obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off ‘obscene.’”

“Other Virginia Democrats had a good night on Tuesday, too. “Democrats won complete control of the Virginia government for the first time in a generation,” The New York Times reported.

“In capturing both chambers of the legislature in Virginia, Democrats have cleared the way for Gov. Ralph S. Northam, who was nearly driven from office earlier this year, to press for measures tightening access to guns and raising the minimum wage that have been stymied by legislative Republicans,” the Times added.

“The Democratic governor was recently caught up in a blackface scandal and resisted pressure from the Right to resign. Gov. Northam also infamously defended abortion up to the moment of birth, and even after birth, during a radio interview in January.”

In April 2018, she sued her former employer and eventually won severance pay that was initially withheld, CBS News said, citing the Washington Post.

And now for the rest of the story. One has to wonder why did Virginia swing so decisively to the Dems last night for the first time in two decades. The Washington Post spills the beans:

“Federal judges have selected a Virginia House of Delegates redistricting map that appears to heavily favor Democrats, redrawing the lines of 26 districts and moving several powerful Republicans into unfavorable configurations.

“Six Republicans would wind up in districts where a majority of voters chose Democratic President Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election, according to an analysis of the maps by the nonpartisan Virginia Public Access Project. No current Democrats would see their voter majority change to Republican, based on those election results.

“If the court’s map selection stands, it would create a favorable environment for Democrats seeking to take control of the House of Delegates in elections this fall, according to the analysis. All 100 seats in the House are on the ballot, and Republicans hold a 51-to-48 majority.”

As TheRightScoop pointed out: “The courts used a California professor to create new redistricting maps since Republicans and Northam were at an impasse on how to redraw the districts. And now you see the result, just as the Washington Post predicted.” In other words, those districts are skewed for the Democrats.

And it wasn’t just redistricting that did it. Millions were poured into the state by the likes of George Soros and others. From The Washington Free Beacon:

“Boosted by millions of dollars from outside groups, Virginia Democrats won control of both state legislative chambers on Tuesday, giving them full control of state government for the first time in 26 years.

“All 140 seats in Virginia’s General Assembly are up for grabs every two years, and Democrats entered the night hopeful they would enter 2020 with the state’s status as a blue state further solidified. Democrats will emerge from Tuesday’s election with full control of the legislature, with at least a two-seat majority in the state Senate and an even larger majority in the House of Delegates, which hasn’t been controlled by Democrats since 1999.

“The election attracted record levels of outside spending, with more than $13 million pumped into the state by liberal groups and donors.”

I guess that fits the Dems’ definition of winning by any means necessary. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that VA turned solid blue last night because of Trump. It went blue because of rigged politics and elections.
