Watch ‘The Squad’ Get Ambushed with Questions About Second Amendment: AOC Throws Tantrum [VIDEOS]
Beto has called for gun confiscation programs, and members of the Squad have called gun rights advocates “murderers” with “blood on their hands”, so the NRA sent a representative to Washington, DC this week to ask AOC and the rest of ‘The Squad’ a few questions.
It went about like you’re thinking. The NRA then posted a 2 minute video reporter having to trot to keep up with all four freshman Congresswomen as they were asked about Beto’s plan, whether they wanted to take away guns and gun rights, and in AOC’s case if she even knew what an AR-15 looked like.
The video showed that AOC in particular was the most belligerent of the four, only answering questions by asking other questions, labeling the NRA as supporters of white supremacists and advocates of murdering Latino Americans, and all but running away from the woman trying to speak with her:
There was a hearing today to ban semi-automatic rifles, so we thought it was an appropriate time to ask The Squad their thoughts on our #2A rights.
They called us mass murderers, white supremacists, and terrorists. Let's send a clear message that they will never take our guns. pic.twitter.com/Joe0A0hfXY

Ocasio-Cortez got wind of the video from Moms Demand’s Shannon Watts and proceeded to launch into a temper tantrum, demanding the “full” video be released:
Hey @NRA, why don’t you release my full, unedited interview?
You know, the one where my first answer to your question was “Aren’t y’all broke?”
I think the public would like to see it in full. Releasing it is the right move – unless of course you think it’ll make you look bad. https://t.co/kOXfkOERFF
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) September 26, 2019
When the NRA ignored her, she again opened up her elementary school sandbox playbook and gave it another go:
Yo, @NRA – you seemed to have had a lot of time yesterday waiting outside my office and making videos about me.
Yet you‘re suddenly so quiet & pressed about answering my question.
Are you scared or just punking out? Release the raw video. https://t.co/kkbcsFVg9Z

It’s easy to be a beloved woke liberal activist politico when you only have to play to your adoring crowds. But when you’re in mixed political company, the dynamic changes — and it’s obvious they don’t like that at all.
Like smelly rats jumping ship, these companies couldn’t cut ties with the NRA – The National Rifle Association – fast enough when barely pushed to do so by Maoist wannabes on the left.
The catalyst for dumping the NRA came in the wake of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, last week. The first to jump on board were car rental companies, but they now have plenty of company.
Scroll down for VIDEO
They won’t even clarify why they are cutting ties… it’s simply because of gun control and because they don’t support the Second Amendment and gun rights. Many of these companies have had long standing relationships with the NRA, providing their in-excess five million-strong membership discounts. But no more and they evidently don’t care they are alienating a huge segment of their customer base doing so.
When it came right down to it, these companies feared the left and the anti-gun lobby more than they cared for the rights of Americans. Just remember that if you need their services in the future. When a little pressure was put on them by Marxists, they folded immediately. What these companies don’t seem to get is that the NRA represents the viewpoint of most Americans, whether they belong or not to the group. And this will cause their membership to skyrocket, while the companies boycotting them are going to see their stock and profits tank. Serves them right. This is suicidally short-sighted and cowardly if you ask me.
Thanks for reaching out. Effective March 26, we will no longer provide the NRA member discount. ~Sam

This is simply mob outrage. It is a lemming mentality and it shows an utter contempt for Constitutional rights. NRA members and those who cherish the Second Amendment should in turn boycott these companies. The NRA had nothing to do with the massacre in Florida. Negligence and incompetence did. The media was quick to dance in the blood of dead students to push gun control. And instead of putting the safety of students first by making sure that schools are no longer soft targets, the media and the left blamed the NRA. They put a political agenda ahead of kids’ lives and went for the guns when that was just a means to an end for a killer.
The NRA has millions of law-abiding members who lawfully and faithfully exercise their Second Amendment rights each and every day. The NRA is interested in not only spreading firearm enthusiasm, but the organization works to teach and train Americans to be highly competent in firearm usage and safety. Nothing the organization does could ever be seen as training mass killers or encouraging illegal firearm use in any way, shape or form. Their members are armed to protect themselves, their loved ones and innocent people like these students.
The NRA’s members and others who value their constitutional rights should take their business elsewhere to those that have a backbone and principles. Something these companies obviously lack. Others will step forward to fill the void and the stripping of discounts is not going to sway those who cherish the Second Amendment.
Here is the response from the NRA:
The more than five million law-abiding members of the National Rifle Association have enjoyed discounts and cost-saving programs from many American corporations that have partnered with the NRA to expand member benefits.
I want to applaud companies like @MetLife, @United, @Delta, @Hertz, @TrueCar, @Avis, @Symantec, @BestWestern, @SimpliSafe, @Wyndham, @FNBOmaha, @Chubb and @Enterprise for cutting ties with the leadership of the @NRA. #BoycottNRA

Since the tragedy in Parkland, Florida, a number of companies have decided to sever their relationship with the NRA, in an effort to punish our members who are doctors, farmers, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, nurses, shop owners and school teachers that live in every American community. We are men and women who represent every American ethnic group, every one of the world’s religions and every form of political commitment.
After TERRORIZING Americans for decades, it’s great to finally see the NRA playing defense. #BoycottNRA

The law-abiding members of the NRA had nothing at all to do with the failure of that school’s security preparedness, the failure of America’s mental health system, the failure of the National Instant Check System or the cruel failures of both federal and local law enforcement.
Despite that, some corporations have decided to punish NRA membership in a shameful display of political and civic cowardice. In time, these brands will be replaced by others who recognize that patriotism and determined commitment to Constitutional freedoms are characteristics of a marketplace they very much want to serve.
Let it be absolutely clear. The loss of a discount will neither scare nor distract one single NRA member from our mission to stand and defend the individual freedoms that have always made America the greatest nation in the world. #StandandFight #NRA #2A https://t.co/4kzNq9GDLq

To those saying #DumpNRATV: "The #NRA has been the biggest defender of free speech. I find it interesting that those individuals who simultaneously preach about free speech want to silence the speech of the millions of people who make up NRA membership." –@DLoesch #Truth pic.twitter.com/MNGAxtkcOr
