President Trump just had a YUGE victory! The Supreme Court has ruled that the Trump Administration can use $2.5 billion in military funds to build the border wall that had been frozen for months legally. This will be used to construct 100+ miles of border wall in Arizona, New Mexico, and California. And the liberals are having a catastrophic meltdown over it. See below.
USA Today reports that the Supreme Court’s “order temporarily settles just one of several skirmishes between the Trump administration and House Democrats, ‘blue’ states led by California, and environmental groups over border wall funds.” Finally, the Supreme Court is overruling some of this unconstitutional harassment of President Trump and helping to secure our sovereignty and security as a nation. This sets a legal precedent that portends very disappointing times for the left.
From The Daily Wire:
“Trump responded to the news in a tweet, writing, “Wow! Big VICTORY on the Wall. The United States Supreme Court overturns lower court injunction, allows Southern Border Wall to proceed. Big WIN for Border Security and the Rule of Law!”
“The Supreme Court’s ruling will allow the administration to build over 100 miles of Trump’s border wall along the U.S. southern border in Arizona, New Mexico, and California, which Bloomberg noted is Trump’s “biggest step yet toward erecting his long-promised wall.”
“The 30-foot steel bollard fencing will replace barriers that the Trump administration says are dilapidated and ineffective,” Bloomberg continued. “Some of those existing barriers are designed only to prevent vehicles from crossing and don’t stop pedestrians.”

“Axios added that the president “wants roughly $8 billion to build a wall on U.S.-Mexico border, $3.6 billion of which he plans to access with emergency powers.”
“The five conservative Supreme Court Justices ruled in favor of the Trump administration while the four liberal justices would not have allowed construction to start.
“The $2.5 billion had been shifted from various programs including personnel and recruiting, Minuteman III and air launch cruise missiles, E-3 aircraft upgrades and the Afghan security forces training fund,” CNN reported. “The Pentagon said it was able to move that money due to uncovered cost savings as part of a process known as ‘reprogramming.’ The money was moved into a Defense Department counter-drug account that is authorized to spend money on the construction of border barriers.”‘

Aw yes… the power of having a conservative-leaning SCOTUS is a lifeline for this country. President Trump previously declared a national emergency at the southern border on Feb. 15th after Congress refused to appropriate sufficient funds for border barriers. Pursuant to that proclamation, administration officials announced plans to reprogram $600 million from the Treasury Department’s forfeiture fund; $2.5 billion from Defense Department counter-narcotics activities; and $3.6 billion from military construction projects to finance the construction of the wall.
A plaintiffs’ coalition of environmentalists led by the Sierra Club sued the administration to stop the reassignment. The plaintiffs said they have “recreational and aesthetic interests” in habitats near the border, like “hiking, birdwatching, [and] photography.” The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) represents the plaintiffs. They are vowing to appeal and keep fighting but it is obvious they are going to have to learn to live with disappointment. Good.
Big day as this Supreme Court decision will allow emergency funds to be spent on the much-needed Wall.
After this decision the Border Wall will get stronger and better.

“We are pleased that the Supreme Court recognized that the lower courts should not have halted construction of walls on the southern border,” Justice Department spokesperson Alexei Woltornist said in a statement. “We will continue to vigorously defend the Administration’s efforts to protect our Nation.”
Looks like the wall is going to get built after all. Not only is this great news on the border, it really kicks Trump’s 2020 election efforts into high-gear. It’s exactly what the Democrats feared. Their nightmare has come to life and Americans dream-come-true of a big, beautiful wall on the border is materializing. Taste the liberal tears.

The judicial harassment of @RealDonaldTrump is out of control. Glad the Supreme Court is reasserting the rule of law…

Trump’s fake emergency was nothing more than a pathetic ploy to circumvent Congress and build his monument to his racist policies. This fight is not over, and I will continue fighting Trump’s efforts to destroy our environment and militarize border communities. #NoBorderWall https://t.co/q1CLJKwXBO

This evening’s Supreme Court ruling allowing @realDonaldTrump to steal military funds to spend on a wasteful, ineffective border wall rejected by Congress is deeply flawed. Our Founders designed a democracy governed by the people — not a monarchy.
— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) July 26, 2019
This is a deeply regrettable and nonsensical decision and flies in the face of the will of Congress and the Congress’s exclusive power of the purse, which our founders established in the Constitution.
— Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) July 27, 2019
Taking away money from the Defense Department to build a wall will not make us any safer.
Trump’s political stunt will harm border communities & ignores the root causes of migration.
We deserve a president with a common sense & compassionate immigration plan. https://t.co/4kejeLp6Yv

Deeply disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision. I’ve long opposed building walls, and while in Congress, I introduced language to prevent DOD funds from being used to plan or build a wall along our border. As President, I would do everything in my power to make that law.

Diverting military funds for a vanity project is exactly who Donald Trump is. I will continue to fight back and join with those already challenging this wrong and misguided decision. https://t.co/d9pEsmES7M

Despite his promises, Trump is taking money from our military to fund his unnecessary and ineffective border wall. The Supreme Court’s decision is wrong, and Trump’s wall is a waste.
