President Trump has a message for people here illegally:
Friday President Trump confirmed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will conduct deportation raids on undocumented aliens Sunday, saying the operation will focus on “criminals” in the United States. “It starts on Sunday, and they’re going to take people out and they’re going to bring them back to their countries. We’re focused on criminals as much as we can, before we do anything else.”
Asked about reports that he is giving illegals the heads up about the raids, President Trump said, “There’s nothing to be secret about,” he said. “ICE is law enforcement, they are great patriots, they have a tough job. Nothing to be secret about. If the word gets out, it gets out.” The New York Times reported ICE is preparing to round up roughly 200 illegal aliens with final deportation orders in at least ten major U.S. cities. President Donald Trump delayed the raids after details of the operation were leaked to the media.

Some Democrat mayors, including Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot, have signaled they will not cooperate with the raids. On Wednesday, Lightfoot said she will block ICE from accessing its police databases ahead of the deportation operation. “Chicago is and will always be a welcoming city that will never tolerate ICE tearing our families apart,” she said.
Meanwhile, a Michigan couple is facing a mix of praise and pushback on social media for hosting a wedding themed after President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan ‘Make American Great Again.’ Audra Johnson and her husband Jeff got married on July 4. Their wedding was filled with red, white, and blue decor to fit the holiday and Audra’s bridesmaids even dressed in the patriotic colors.
During the ceremony, Audra wore a traditional white wedding gown, but changed into another white dress featuring the words “Make America Great Again” on the front, and “Trump” in the back. “We love our country and our president. To us, it wasn’t any different than any other themed wedding,” Audra told Fox 35.
After posting her wedding photos to Facebook, Audra says she began to get a lot of hateful comments, but tried to have a sense of humor about it. “And the fun begins! Hehehe! Best wedding gift ever!” she captioned a post featuring comments criticizing her Trump-themed wedding.
Thank you to everyone who came out to share in our union!!! Here is a sneak peek at the dress! Remember to tag any photos with#MAGAPatriotWedding so we can see what you guys captured!
One disappointed commenter said, “They are going to regret this so hardcore, and it makes me so happy. Eventually we’re all going to be wondering where all the MAGA’s went?” Despite the criticism, Audra has received a lot of positive feedback too.
“I LOVE IT!!!!,” wrote one supporter. “I love seeing people defend this country and our President and you sure did it in a HUGE way!!!”
