Israel’s Interior Minister slammed Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib Friday after approving her request to visit the Jewish State; saying her “hate for Israel overcomes her love for her grandmother.”

“Rep. Tlaib just tweeted that she won’t be coming to Israel. Just yesterday she sent me a letter, asking to visit her 90 year old grandmother saying, ‘it might be my last chance to meet her,’” posted Interior Minister Aryeh Deri. “I approved her request as a gesture of goodwill on a humanitarian basis, but it was just a provocative request, aimed at bashing the State of Israel. Apparently her hate for Israel overcomes her love for her grandmother.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham weighed-in: “From my point of view, there have got to be consequences to your behavior. If you openly joined an international movement to destroy the state of Israel, then you’ll suffer the consequences,” he added. “They are duly elected members of Congress, I get that, but they are openly supporting the [boycott, divestment and sanctions] movement which would be an economic boycott of the state of Israel and basically destroy the state, so I understand both sides of the story here,”

Of course Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi slammed Israel’s decision to block Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar this week; calling the move “beneath the dignity” of the world’s only Jewish State.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said that both President Trump and the Israeli government debased their offices when they pushed back on plans by two freshman congresswomen critical of Israel to visit the Mideast ally,” reports Fox News.

“Denying entry to members of the United States Congress is a sign of weakness, not strength,” echoed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Which is a flat out lie, by the way.

“We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle, this is a very justified decision,” Israel’s deputy foreign minister said after announcing their decision.

Rashida Tlaib slammed the Israeli government Friday; blaming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “oppressive and racist” policies hours after she was denied entry into the country.

“When I won, it gave the Palestinian people hope that someone will finally speak the truth about the inhumane conditions. I can’t allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my sity to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies,” posted Tlaib on Twitter.

“Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in–fighting against racism, oppression & injustice,” she added.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weighed-in Friday on her fellow Squad-members’ ban from visiting Israel; saying she won’t plan any future visits until “all members of Congress” can travel to the Jewish State.

“Netanyahu’s discriminatory decision to ban members of Congress from Israel harms int’l diplomacy. Visiting Israel & Palestine are key experiences towards a path to peace. Sadly, I cannot move forward w scheduling any visits to Israel until all members of Congress are allowed,” she posted on social media.

Gee I bet they’re crying in their soup..

Rep. Ilhan Omar posted a massive, anti-Israeli tirade on social media Friday, just hours after she was denied entry into the Jewish State for her outspoken support of multiple boycott initiatives.

“Let’s be clear: the goal of our trip was to witness firsthand what is happening on the ground in Palestine and hear from stakeholders —our job as Members of Congress. But since we were unable to fulfill our role as legislators, I am sharing what we would have seen,” she posted on Twitter. “First, I planned to hold meetings with members of the Knesset (both Jewish and Arab) along with Israeli security officials.”

“The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is one of the worst in the world—with 97% of water unfit for human consumption and on the verge of collapse. Most of the people in Gaza are children,” she added. “77% of shops have closed bc of military occupation. Palestinians walk with garbage nets above their heads, put up to catch trash thrown by settlers. Violent attacks on Palestinians are routine.”

Bernie Sanders weighed-in Friday on Israel’s decision to block entry to Reps. Omar and Tlaib; saying the US should cut aid to the Jewish State as a direct response.

“Well I wish I could tell you, that I am shocked. I am not,” Sanders told MSNBC. “We have a president who tragically is a racist, is a xenophobe and who is a religious bigot. But the idea that a member of the United States Congress cannot visit a nation which, by the way, we support to the tune of billions and billions of dollars, is clearly an outrage.”

“And if Israel doesn’t want members of the United States Congress to visit their country to get a first hand look at what’s going on, and I’ve been there many, many times, but if he doesn’t want members to visit, maybe he can respectfully decline the billions of dollars that we give to Israel,” he added.

But honeymooning in the Soviet Union is cool. Go Bernie!!
