WATCH: Video of Two Toddlers Running to Hug Each Other Steals Hearts Around the World
26-month-old Maxwell and 27-month-old Finnegan have warmed hearts around the world with their viral video! The toddlers have been best friends for over a year now. This viral video captures their pure joy at the sight of one another on the street and running to give each other a hug.
Maxwell’s father Michael Cisneros posted the viral clip on Facebook over the weekend after he caught the two boys running toward each other to embrace, before tearing off together down the sidewalk.
“I have no idea how to make things go viral, for those that do……please share. This is just so beautiful. Finnegan + Maxwell= BESTIES!!! If we could all be like this”
Maxwell and Finnegan are inseparable Cisneros told ABC News. The boys, who are 2 years old, have only known each other for about a year.
Cisneros said they are partners in crime.
The Blaze reports:
ABC News picked up the footage and it went viral, with even the likes of former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley sharing it on Twitter with the message, “This makes my heart happy. Hope it does yours as well!”
Cisneros told the outlet, “When they are away from each other, they are always asking about one another. They go to music class together, Dana Banana (a weekly music event) and they love to dance — both are excellent dancers.”
While most on social media had positive comments to share, there were critics, too. Some voiced concern that the adults weren’t close enough in case the kids darted into the street, and others accused the parents of setting up the encounter.
“Definitely not staged it’s just a lucky moment that I caught on camera,” Cisneros told WPIX-TV. “They just took off towards each other and I got my phone out as quickly as I can to record it; they are just too cute together.”

Cisneros also said that the boys play tennis together with Finnegan’s parents, who bought them gear to use.
As I read the comments, what I noticed is the lack of hate that often permeates many social media posts. Most everything was kind and loving, with the exception of a few.
“Just. So. Adorable. Their gleeful sounds of joy are heart melting worthy. I could watch this all day. Thanks for the smiles!”
“The best thing I’ve seen in quite some time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing.”
“I needed this today. Thank you for sharing. I am now sharing so that maybe someone else’s day can be just a little bit brighter!”
The media is constantly telling us a false narrative that we all hate each other. It is so untrue. The world is full of love, it just doesn’t make a good headline. While there will always be bad in the world, there is so much good. I am so glad the media took some time to focus on this.
I just wrote another article, Photograph of Squirrel Taking Time To Smell a Flower Goes Viral
Most likely, these two articles will do well, but not as well as some of the horrid items happening in our American politics. Prove me wrong. Share these two articles!
Almost 250,000 people have seen the video of Maxwell and Finnegan hugging as of the writing of this article. Keep spreading the love.
