Texas to Obama: You Cannot “Blackmail” Us With Your “30 Pieces of Silver”!

Texas has never taken kindly to the Federal Government sticking it’s nose where it does not belong.

When Obama issued his highness’s official decree last week declaring all public schools need to allow transgenders to use whatever bathroom they want, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick smacked back hard!

He implied that Obama was betraying Texas, just like Judas betrayed Jesus, when he told reporters Obama “can keep his 30 pieces of silver.”

When Obama issued his highness's official decree last week declaring all public schools, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick smacked back hard!

NewsPolitics reports:

An official in Texas, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick stated that he won’t put up with the “blackmail.” Patrick told reporters that, “I believe it is the biggest issue facing families and schools in America since prayer was taken out of public schools.

[His policy] will divide the country not along political lines but along family values and school districts. He says he’s going to withhold funding if schools do not follow the policy.

Well, in Texas, he can keep his 30 pieces of silver. We will not yield to blackmail from the president of the United States.”

But Lt. Gov Patrick was not the only Texan to hit back at Obama, Port Neches-Groves Superintendent Dr. Rodney Cavness on Thursday slammed the Obama administration.

Dr. Cavness told 12News anchor Kevin Steele:

“I got news for President Barack Obama. He ain’t my President and he can’t tell me what to do. That letter (to be released to all public schools tomorrow) is going straight to the paper shredder. I have 5 daughters myself and I have 2,500 girls in my protection. Their moms and dads expect me to protect them. And that is what I am going to do. Now I don’t want them bullied… but there are accommodations that can be made short of this. He (President Obama) is destroying the very fiber of this country. He is not a leader. He is a failure.”

It is time the ALL states hit back on the 10th Amendment rights.

The national debate over HB2, North Carolina’s “bathroom bill,” escalated significantly in recent weeks, but it all really started with California, who first made it law that boys could use the girls’ bathroom in schools 4 years ago.

Since then, the left has pushed hard to uproot the basic privacy rights of little girls and women.

They cannot win this!
