Terrorist-supporting group sponsored Tlaib, Omar Israel trip

One fact left out by the mainstream media in all its coverage about the trip Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) planned to Israel is that it was sponsored by an Islamic terrorism-supporting group. Fact, not opinion – you fact-checkers. By the way, get a life.

This should be a national scandal. The two Muslim congresswomen did not plan their trip via the conventional bipartisan route.

“The most important element of the story is the fact that two American congresswomen shunned a bipartisan congressional delegation to Israel to go on an independent trip to Israel sponsored by vicious anti-Semites,” National Review reported. “Another important element of the story is that – as of [Friday] – the mainstream media have whitewashed Omar and Tlaib’s vile associations.”

“The decision has been made, the decision is not to allow them to enter,” Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said to Israel’s Reshet Radio Thursday.

Tlaib had been planning the congressional delegation since at least December 2018, according to an invitation sent to other U.S. lawmakers that year. The trip to the West Bank and Jerusalem was intended to last from Aug. 17 to 22, and act as an alternative to the AIPAC-led delegations for lawmakers who are friendlier to Israel.

Despite billing itself as a peaceful organization dedicated to promoting Palestine’s democratic institutions, MIFTAH for years has carried notable ties to terrorist sympathizers, has openly accused Israel of atrocities, and supports the boycott of Israeli products.

MIFTAH’s own website describes Wafa Idrees, a female suicide bomber, as one of a few young women who chose to “join the ranks of the resistance movement.” Idrees detonated herself in January 2002, killing an 81-year-old and wounding another 150 Israelis.

The organization later issued a more complete apology, but we’ve barely gotten started with this vile group. It’s also published an American neo-Nazi treatise called “Who Rules America: The Alien Grip on Our News and Entertainment Media Must Be Broken”

The original source was National Vanguard, a neo-Nazi group founded in 2005 in Charlottesville by members of the National Alliance.” The National Alliance “was for a time the best financed and best organized white nationalist group in America.” And to give you a sense of its ideology, here are two paragraphs from the treatise:

The Jew-controlled entertainment media have taken the lead in persuading a whole generation that homosexuality is a normal and acceptable way of life; that there is nothing at all wrong with White women dating or marrying Black men, or with White men marrying Asian women; that all races are inherently equal in ability and character — except that the character of the White race is suspect because of a history of oppressing other races; and that any effort by Whites at racial self-preservation is reprehensible.

We must oppose the further spreading of this poison among our people, and we must break the power of those who are spreading it. It would be intolerable for such power to be in the hands of any alien minority, with values and interests different from our own. But to permit the Jews, with their 3,000-year history of nation-wrecking, from ancient Egypt to Russia, to hold such power over us is tantamount to race suicide. Indeed, the fact that so many White Americans today are so filled with a sense of racial guilt and self-hatred that they actively seek the death of their own race is a deliberate consequence of Jewish media control.

I look forward to hearing apologists argue that these statements are merely critiques of “Israeli policies.”

Miftah’s Neo-Nazi take and Jewish conspiracy angle were also brought to light.

“Miftah published a Neo-Nazi article that describes a ‘white racist’ as ‘any racially conscious white person who looks askance at miscegenation or at the rapidly darkening racial situation in America,’” McGhee continued. “It goes on to claim Jews control the media in America and thus public opinion. ‘And who are these all-powerful masters of the media?’ asks the author … ‘As we shall see, to a very large extent they are Jews. … The preponderance of Jews in the media is so overwhelming, however, that we are obliged to assume that it is due to more than mere happenstance.’”

Even though Democrats frequently use the politically correct mantra that it’s discriminatory to find fault with Tlaib and Omar as the only female Muslims in Congress, National Review candidly put their unchecked actions in perspective, starting by exposing the appointed sponsor of their trip.

“The group celebrates terrorists – including an evil woman who helped murder 13 Israeli children,” National Review’s David French stressed. “In an article titled ‘Let Us Honor Our Own,’ a Miftah contributor describes Dalal Al Mughrabi as ‘a Palestinian fighter who was killed during a military operation against Israel in 1978’ and as one of the Palestinian people’s ‘national heroes.’ The so-called ‘military operation’ is more widely known as the ‘Coastal Road Massacre’ – a bus hijacking that resulted in the deaths of 38 Israeli civilians, including 13 children.”

Suicide bombers are also regarded as icons in Miftah’s and Palestinians’ culture.

“Al Mughrabi is hardly the only terrorist Miftah celebrates,” French continued. “It described female suicide bomber Wafa Idrees as the ‘the beginning of a string of Palestinian women dedicated to sacrificing their lives for the cause.’ It singles out for recognition Hanadi Jaradat – a woman who blew herself up in a restaurant, killing 21 people (including four children).”

The terrorist-supporting roots of Miftah were also exposed.

“The founder of Miftah herself, Ms. Ashrawi, excused jihadist violence by telling an interviewer that ‘you cannot somehow adopt the language of either the international community or the occupier by describing anybody who resists as terrorist,’” French informed.

He then pointed to a tweet confirming that Miftah believes Jews must be displaced from Israel – the homeland that the God of the Bible clearly designated for His people, the Jews.

“Under the heading, ‘Is Israel the Only Possible Homeland for Jews?’ this article questioning the appropriateness of Israel as the location of a Jewish homeland was posted by Miftah – one of the sponsors of the proposed Tlaib/Omar visit to Israel,” the Washington Examiner’s Jeryl Bier tweeted Friday.

It was then argued that if people of a different race, religion and gender had plotted a visit similar to Tlaib’s and Omar’s, they would have been ousted from office in a heartbeat.

“It would and should be a national scandal if GOP congressmen intended to partner with white nationalists during a visit overseas,” French impressed. “It should be a national scandal that members of the American government intended to partner with vicious anti-Semites on their own propaganda tour.”

He said now is as good a time as any for the mainstream media to redeem itself and do some objective reporting on the Muslim congresswomen who have not been held accountable for their actions as they continue to play the race card – and win … and remain in office.

“After its thunderous denunciations of Bibi Netanyahu and Donald Trump, will pundits, editorial boards, and reporters take a look at the scandal hiding in plain sight?” French asked. “Will they hold Tlaib and Omar accountable for their vile associations? Now is a good time to demonstrate their commitment to reporting on the full context of international disputes and exposing one of the world’s oldest hatreds.”

Tlaib’s manipulative mischievousness

It is argued that regardless of the subterfuge of visiting her grandmother that Tlaib threw into the controversy regarding the reason for her trip to Israel – allegedly to draw sympathy to the Palestinian side of the conflict while portraying Israel as a cruel and oppressive Apartheid state – her promotion of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement appears to rise to the top, as pointed out in a tweet by Israeli Interior Minister Aryeh Deri.

“I approved her request as a gesture of goodwill on a humanitarian basis, but it was just a provocative request, aimed at bashing the State of Israel,” Deri tweeted Friday. “Apparently, her hate for Israel overcomes her love for her grandmother.”

President Donald Trump quickly chimed in his usual social media fashion.

“Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother,” Trump tweeted Friday. “Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down – a complete setup. The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She doesn’t have to see her now!”

Another take on the motive behind Tlaib’s and Omar’s trip to Israel doesn’t stray too far from Deri’s assessment.

“[M]aybe they, like Miftah, truly believe that the rights of Palestinians outweigh the rights of Israelis, and that the latter should not exist,” McGhee offered. “Intentions aside, Tlaib and Omar were traveling to Israel to stir up trouble.

“Denying them the opportunity to do so certainly nixed the problem, but another one stepped into its place – Tlaib now has the fuel to go back to her voters and say, See? I told you so.” McGhee pointed out.

“The narrative she’s been pushing ever since she walked into Congress just got a little bit stronger: Israel is bad, the Palestinians are oppressed, and Congress must do something about it. Many of the same Democrats who previously condemned Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Israel sentiments are already rallying behind their freshman colleagues.”

McGhee is among those who argue that Israel – just like a homeowner – has the right to close its door to troublemakers.

“Israel certainly had the moral right to bar Omar and Tlaib,” she stated. “Who wants an antagonist accusing you of ‘racism, oppression, and injustice’ running around causing problems? Traveling to Israel wouldn’t have changed Omar and Tlaib’s minds.”

Still, did Netanyahu did the right thing by protecting Israeli citizens from the Muslim congresswomen’s plotted-out onslaught?

“Perhaps Israel’s decision was the politically correct one, as well – by denying Omar and Tlaib entry, Netanyahu made it clear to his constituents that Israel would not tolerate disrespect … even if it means upsetting a few key allies in Congress,” McGhee reasoned.

“But there’s something bigger at stake than mere politics,” she continued. “This is a battle of narratives, and the ultimate goal of Tlaib’s is to sway public support away from Israel. Israel’s government should be doing all it can to discount and cheapen her portrayal – even if that means allowing her to poke around the country looking for crimes that don’t exist.”

Regardless of what Israel did, McGhee is convinced it was a lose-lose situation brewed up by the pro-Palestinian lawmakers.

“It doesn’t matter that Israel granted her a humanitarian exception to visit her grandmother in the West Bank – Tlaib doesn’t want it” she concluded. “She planned to travel to Israel for one reason: to provide evidence that Israel really is the ‘bad guy.’ Israel saved her the trip.”
