Socialist Ocasio-Cortez Rants About End Of World, Reproduction And Climate Change

Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is doing her level best to imitate Chicken Little or is having serious flashbacks to ‘Independence Day’. She went on a doomsday scree over climate change and predicted the end of the world. She also ranted on and on about socialism and used the words ‘like’ and ‘literally’ every three words or so.

Last night she actually said that people should reconsider having children due to climate change because there is a “scientific consensus” that life will be hard for kids. She claims it’s a “basic moral question.” Do you mean consensus related to climate change? Where and what solid scientific proof does she have of this? None. One wonders if she has been learning at the feet of Al Gore.

“Our planet is going to hit disaster if we don’t turn this ship around and so it’s basically like, there’s a scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult,” Ocasio-Cortez said while chopping up a potato in her kitchen during an Instagram live video. Note: she was also drinking wine. “And it does lead, I think, young people to have a legitimate question, you know, ‘Is it okay to still have children?'”

Ocasio-Cortez savaged Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for pushing back against a far-left fringe group using children to push her Green New Deal. “You know what’s interesting about this group?” Feinstein told the budding green socialists in response to the group storming into her office. “I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I know what I’m doing.”

“You come in here, and you say it has to be my way or the highway. I don’t respond to that,” Feinstein continued. “I’ve gotten elected, I just ran. I was elected by almost a million-vote plurality. And I know what I’m doing. So you know, maybe people should listen a little bit.”

Ocasio-Cortez was incensed over Feinstein’s response. She said it was “like not good enough” because the legislation that the Democrats support is “frankly going to kill us.” We’re doomed I tell you.

“This idea that ‘I’ve been working on this for x-amount of years,’ um, it’s like not good enough,” Ocasio-Cortez stated. “Like, we need a universal sense of urgency, and people are like trying to introduce watered-down proposals that are frankly going to kill us. A lack of urgency is going to kill us.”

“The issue has gotten worse,” Ocasio-Cortez went on. “So I don’t think that working on an issue for 30 years alone is what qualifies as, as what someone qualified to solve an issue.”

“That said, there are a lot of people that have been doing this work for decades that have proposed ambitious solutions for years and have not been listened to,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “So it’s not just, ‘I’ve been doing this for 30 years,’ so we need to listen to them because frankly, people have been failing at the same things for 30 or 40 years. What we need to do is say, ‘What solutions have not been tried yet? And what ambitious scale have we not shot at yet.’ And let’s do it.” She didn’t add that she’s in charge, deal with it, but she’s said that previously.

Ocasio-Cortez has been known to use alarmist language in connection to climate change frequently. This is nothing new although somewhat more blunt and dramatic. She has compared fighting climate change to fighting Nazi Germany. She has gone as far as claiming that the world is going to end in 12 years if her far-left policies are not implemented. Ocasio-Cortez has a serious fixation with the end of the world as we know it.

“I think the part of it that is generational is that millennials and people, in Gen Z, and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, the world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change,” Ocasio-Cortez said during a Martin Luther King forum in New York City in January. “And your biggest issue, your biggest issue is how are we going to pay for it? — and like this is the war, this is our World War II.”

Again, what Ocasio-Cortez did not say is that she plans on paying for her insane Green New Deal by printing money. Trillions of it. During her Instagram monologue starring a potato that rivals her IQ, the first-year representative blasted her critics and said the world only had “one shot” left to prevent total destruction.

She even ranted about plastic bags: “I wish they didn’t exist” — before pouring herself some wine. After listening to this, I needed a pick-me-up too. Just sayin’.

Ocasio-Cortez offered a “special hello to my haters,” noting that she had received death threats. She complained that people feel “entitled to very private and personal information about me that they don’t ask for from other people.” Gee, leftists didn’t mind doxing the Covington teens when they falsely accused them of racism and attacking a Native American. But when the shoe is on their foot it’s a whole different scene.

“The whole premise of the Green New Deal is that we’re screwed on climate,” she said. “At this point, we don’t even have to prove it — just walk outside in winter in a lot of places, and it’s either way worse than you’re used to, or way warmer than you’re used to.” It’s called cyclical and seasonal… it’s called ‘winter’.

She also labeled what she called climate delayers as the new climate deniers. Ocasio-Cortez stopped just short of calling for them to be rounded up and reeducated. And knowing nothing of history, she claims that socialism is not to blame in Venezuela… authoritarianism is. She doesn’t know what that means.

Ocasio-Cortez’s Instagram message does one thing and one thing only. It conclusively shows why she should not be in office.
