Saudia Arabian Prince Slams Iran and Obama And Defends Israel
Is the world upside down, or did Donald Trump lay down the law to the Saudi crown prince?
The next in line for the throne of Saudi Arabia is Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MBS. The 32-year-old has been on a tour of western countries in recent weeks meeting potential business partners and heads-of-state, including Britain’s Theresa May.
In the closing days of March, MBS spent time with President Trump in the White House to talk about military spending. It was around this time that Trump declared that he would be freezing money set aside to finish off ISIS in Syria and would be expecting the Saudis to pick up the tab in order to keep the peace in their region.
The Crown Prince on Israel, Palestine
Speaking with The Atlantic after meeting Trump, the Muslim Crown Prince made some surprising comments about Israel.
“I believe that each people, anywhere, has a right to live in their peaceful nation. I believe the Palestinians and the Israelis have the right to have their own land.”
Why is this such a shock? For starters, anyone with an Israeli passport, or anyone whose passport is stamped with a Star of David after visiting the country is barred from visiting Saudi Arabia. In turn, Israel prevents their passport holders from entering Saudi Arabia which the small nation calls an “enemy state.”
The Crown Prince on Hitler
Despite his death decades ago, we still live in a world where Hitler is universally understood for being a bad guy. So, it’s interesting to see that MBS says that what Iran is doing is even worse than Hitler.
“Hitler didn’t do what the supreme leader [of Iran] is trying to do. Hitler tried to conquer Europe. This is bad. But the supreme is trying to conquer the world.”
Makes me think that perhaps we should be a bit more worried about Iran, if the guys in the Middle East are telling us that they’re literally worse than Hitler.
Supreme Leader Ali Khamaneni is Worse Than Hitler
Speaking directly about Khamaneni in Iran, MBS directly said that he is “the Hitler of the Middle East.”
“[Khamaneni] believes he owns the world. They are both evil guys. He is the Hitler of the Middle East. In the 1920s and 1930s, no one saw Hitler as a danger. Only a few people. Until it happened.”
Iran and Obama
When media asked for an opinion on Obama’s handling of Iran especially the disastrous nuclear deal that cost Americans hundreds of millions in payments, he said that Obama believed that given an opportunity to open up, the country would change, but since Iran is based on ideology it will not happen like that. After all, said MBC, sixty percent of the country’s economy is controlled by the armed side of the government, and that economic benefits of the nuclear deal went to them, not the people.
“They took $150 billion after the deal — can you please name one housing project they built with this money? One park? One industrial zone? Can you name for me the highway that they built? I advise them — please show us something that you’re building a highway with $150 billion. For Saudi Arabia, there is a 0.1 percent chance that this deal would work to change the country. For President Obama it was 50 percent. But even if there’s a 50 percent chance that it would work, we can’t risk it. The other 50 percent is war. We have to go to a scenario where there is no war.”
Wow. Can’t wait to hear what Obama says about this!
Mohammed in Hollywood
The last stop for MBS on his American tour is right into the arms of the snakes in Hollywood looking for the next big pile of cash to walk by.
Hollywood has a problem: For years, Chinese investors would write checks and in turn Hollywood would produce movies that would be loved by Chinese audiences. Now, those investors are under new regulations that prevent certain types of foreign investment. So, Hollywood is low on cash.
And after years of promoting environmentalism and crying over dead polar bears killed by fossil fuels, MBS has been invited into the homes of Disney CEO Bob Iger and other producers including Rupert Murdoch. The same fellas stateside who were spanked all last year for their disgusting mistreatment of women are now looking for their natural ally from a country that only began to lift the restriction that prevent women from driving their own car starting last year. I’m guessing that partnering with Saudi money will mean that there will be fewer movies about Muslim terrorists, especially since most of the men involved in 9/11 held Saudi passports.
May 2017 Visit to Riyadh
Last year, Donald Trump along with wife Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner visited the Saudi capital of Riyadh. During the visit, Kushner and MBS stayed up together until 4am on one of the days of the visit.
