CNN was called on the carpet by a San Diego television station last week over CNN contacting them for a “local view” from one of their reporters. They then lost interest upon learning that most Border Patrol Agents the station’s reporters have interviewed have confirmed that a southern border barrier is effective in reducing illegal immigration. Evidently, CNN only considered the story news if it was negative towards President Trump, the Border Patrol, and a border wall.
CNN had a spokesperson push back against the claim. They called it a “non-story” since the network ultimately didn’t book any reporters from stations in the San Diego area. Many see that as semantics and CNN’s actions seem quite transparent here. “We called several local stations to book someone for a show. We didn’t end up booking any of them,” claimed a CNN spokesperson. “That happens many times every single day. We did, however, book a reporter from KUSI for a story on immigration and the border wall on CNN in November. This is a non-story.”
The media has been in a frenzy over illegal immigration, the partial government shutdown, and Trump’s demand for a border wall to provide for national security and help with a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions at our border with Mexico. So, this added fuel to the fire.
“Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if one of our reporters could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown,” a report by KUSI, an independent station in San Diego that began airing in 1982, begins.
“KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com,” it continues while linking to a border fence tour report.
“We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work,” it concludes. “We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.”

As of yesterday, the government shutdown officially became the longest in U.S. history. President Trump is not budging on his demand of $5.7 billion to build the border wall and the Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer refuse to give it to him regardless of who it hurts. The left claims they offered $1.3 billion for border security measures as long as it was not used for a wall. This is the same dance the left has made for decades in regards to illegal immigration and so far, President Trump is refusing to play their game.
Rumors are swirling all over the place that President Trump is considering declaring a national emergency and using the military to build the wall since the Democrats are playing obstructionist here. Many constitutionalists feel that Trump has the executive power to make such a move. As of now, it looks like that may be the only way the wall gets built unless Americans do it themselves. And there is a movement afoot to do just that.
The facts seem to bear out that the Border Patrol and those working down there support President Trump and building a wall because they work. CNN was apparently being dishonest in trying to get a story and was publicly reprimanded for it. There is a word for that in the media… propaganda, or even more apropos: ‘disinformation’.
Just a few hours After CNN reporter Jim Acosta says the border is calm and a peaceful, quiet utopia, 20 Charred Dead Bodies Are Found..
As reported by CNN, Mexican officials found at least 20 dead bodies — most of them burned — along the border, about 50 miles west of McAllen, Texas on Wednesday. Accompanying them were four charred trucks and a sedan along a dirt road in the border state of Tamaulipas.
If you are squeamish – stop reading. This is not good. But the left will tell you it’s not a crisis. I disagree and perhaps you will too.
The incident appeared to be the result of a confrontation between two criminal gangs, Tamaulipas Attorney General Irving Barrios Mojica told journalist Carmen Aristegui in an interview for her radio show in Mexico. Aristegui is also the host of a show on CNN en Español.
He said some of the victims had been wearing “tactical vests with military-type uniforms” and bullets were found nearby that came from weapons typically only used by the military.
Barrios Mojica indicated the area where the bodies were found is being fought over by criminal gangs looking to traffic drugs, weapons and people.
Do people arguing against border security care about the Mexican people? Please comment and share on social media. I’m serious here.
