Three Washington-area Iraqi refugees have been charged with immigration fraud after it was revealed that the story they told authorities to get refugee status from the United Nations was entirely fabricated.
According to WJLA-TV, Adil Hasan, 38, his wife, Enas Ibrahim, 32, and his brother, Yousif Al Mashhadani, 35, have all been charged after a kidnapping story Hasan formulated fell apart.
These scumbags made up a story – that they were kidnapped by a Shiite militia and tortured – just to get into the US. They were admitted by the Obama administration in 2008. But after 7 years their false story caught has caught up to them. Now, they are going to wish they were kidnapped by that militia, because they are done screwing with America.
H/T Conservative Tribune:
It turned out that two of the refugees, brothers Yousif Al Mashhandani and Adil Hasan, had failed to disclose that they were also brothers to Majid Al Mashhadani, an Iraqi who confessed to helping kidnap American contractor Roy Hallums in Iraq in 2004. Hallums was held with other captives “for months in horrible conditions in an underground bunker,” according to a statement by the Department of Justice.
Here’s the rub: An FBI fingerprint analysis conducted after Yousif applied to become a U.S. citizen in 2013 revealed that his prints matched “those found on a document at the underground bunker where forces rescued R.H. and others in Iraq in 2005.”
In November 2004, U.S. contractor Roy Hallums was kidnapped in Iraq and kept in an underground bunker with other captives. They were freed in a raid after spending nearly a year bound and blindfolded in cells below the earth. Majid Al Mashhadani was arrested in Iraq in connection with the kidnapping but was released from prison in 2007, according to the court documents.
This meant that he may very well have been involved in holding the hostages captive with his brother Majid.
The two brothers, Yousif and Hasan, also reportedly lied to get into the United States in 2008, along with Hasan’s wife, Enas Ibrahim.
As noted by The Washington Post, to increase their changes of obtaining refugee status, years ago they concocted a completely phony story about how Hasan had allegedly been kidnapped in Iraq because of Yousif’s so-called “anti-corruption” efforts.
When FBI agents confronted Hasan about discrepancies in their story last year, he finally fessed up and admitted that he had lied, The Post reported.
According to an affidavit, during their time as refugees the brothers falsely misrepresented their income — while reportedly collecting welfare from food stamps and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program — to obtain an auto loan.
“On Jan. 8, 2015, Hasan and Ibrahim made a $10,000 down payment on an auto loan they obtained on the basis of their representations that they jointly earned at least $84,000 annually, including $36,000 that Ibrahim claimed to earn as a daycare worker in a job that she held for three years,” the DOJ reported.
Strike three. You’re out.
According to the US DOJ:
A criminal complaint contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent until and unless proven guilty in court. Each defendant faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison if convicted. The maximum statutory sentence is prescribed by Congress and is provided here for informational purposes. If convicted of any offense, the sentencing of the defendants will be determined by the court based on the advisory Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, which includes ICE/HSI and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, investigated the case. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Gordon Kromberg and Collen Garcia for the Eastern District of Virginia are prosecuting the case.
I hope they throw the MAX at these scumbags. I’m sure these are not the first refugees to “lie” on their applications into America, but it’s not like Obama’s administration cared about that. They just wanted to flood America with illegal refugees, give them “free stuff” that all of us hard working Americans funded, and then have them register to vote for the Democratic Party. Simple as that.
President Trump said he would make America safe again and he is. Locking scumbags like these up is a good start. Now if only the Democrats would stop blocking Trump’s immigration policies that he has every right to enforce and implement, just think how much Trump could really get done.
