Pelosi Realizes She’s Made A Huge Mistake Trying To Bring Trump Down As Reports Surface Suggesting “Whistleblower” ‘Didn’t Have Direct Knowledge Of The Communications”

The Democrat Party is throwing everything they can, hoping something sticks to the President so they can remove him before Trump crushes them in 2020. When one thing doesn’t work, they go onto the next made up crisis. It’s lie after lie and here’s the latest one:

Nancy Pelosi claimed that President Donald Trump “must” let the inspector general of the intelligence community grant the Democrats access to information he took in from a whistleblower regarding President Trump’s phone call with an unnamed foreign leader. Pelosi claimed that the White House has broken the law by stopping acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire from allowing Congress access to this information.

“The administration’s blocking of acting DNI Joseph Maguire from providing Congress with the whistleblower complaint violates the federal statute, which unequivocally states that the DNI ‘shall’ provide Congress this information,” Pelosi stated on Friday.

She continued, “If the president has done what has been alleged, then he is stepping into a dangerous minefield with serious repercussions for his administration and our democracy.”

The Washington Examiner reports, “Democrats say they have not been able to learn the details of the complaint, provided by an intelligence officer acting as a whistleblower. According to news reports, it involves a conversation with a government official from Ukraine and a ‘promise’ Trump made. The president has declined to offer more details about the complaint and said his call was ‘totally appropriate.’ Pelosi accused both Trump and Maguire of stonewalling, which she said ‘must end immediately.’ She said the whistleblower should be provided ‘with every protection guaranteed by the law to defend the integrity of our government and ensure accountability and trust.’”

The House Speaker insisted that the House would “explore every possible option to ensure the American people get the truth.”

Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, also from California, stated on Thursday that he may be bringing the Trump White House to court in order to gain access to the information.

Via the Hill:

Trump has repeatedly denied misconduct during his calls with foreign leaders, blasting the whistleblower complaint on Friday as “partisan” and “ridiculous,” though he said he did not know who filed the complaint.

“The Radical Left Democrats and their Fake News Media partners, headed up again by Little Adam Schiff, and batting Zero for 21 against me, are at it again!” he tweeted earlier in the day.

“They think I may have had a ‘dicey’ conversation with a certain foreign leader based on a ‘highly partisan’ whistleblowers statement,” he added. “Strange that with so many other people hearing or knowing of the perfectly fine and respectful conversation, that they would not have also come forward. Do you know the reason why they did not? Because there was nothing said wrong, it was pitch perfect!”

The president argued that the target of controversy is misplaced and should be focused on former Vice President Joe Biden‘s alleged ties to Ukraine.

“It doesn’t matter what I discussed, but I’ll tell you this, somebody ought to look into Joe Biden’s statement,” he told reporters during a meeting with the Australian prime minister.

The president’s remarks came a day after his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani told CNN that he had asked Ukraine to look into Biden, who is the current front-runner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

It later came out that the CNN ‘reporter’ who broke the story, nor his source, ever “listened to the transcript” according to the Daily Mail.  The Daily published “A source said the official ‘didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications’ ” But, I’m the one who gets shadow b***** on F–B.  Go figure.

The Daily Mail went on to recap the developments that likely left Pelosi and co regretting noot keeping their powder dry:

Instead they relied on ‘information not obtained during the course of their work’

Those details ‘played a role in the determination the complaint didn’t fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law’, source says

Trump has already denied doing anything improper, calling the chat ‘routine’

When Joe Biden was VP, son Hunter served as director of Ukrainian gas firm

Then-VP Biden pressured Ukraine to fire prosecutor investigating firm’s owner

Fired prosecutor’s successor closed the investigation into Burisma Holdings

Biden said he had ‘never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings’

Hunter said in one chat his dad told him: ‘I hope you know what you are doing’

There goes another narrative.  While there may yet be some “there, there” the original story is not looking so credible right now.  I would say ‘there goes the trust in the Dems and the media they control’ but …. that ship has sailed long, long, long ago IMHO.
