Just nasty. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused Sinclair Broadcast Group reporter James Rosen of spewing GOP talking points after he asked a question about the whistleblower at the center of the Trump impeachment inquiry during her weekly press briefing on Thursday. I thought the left defended the media? I guess only when they are on their side and don’t question their actions or motives.
Rosen pointed out that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has said he would do anything necessary to protect the whistleblower’s identity during the ongoing impeachment hearings. He then asked about Trump’s right to confront his accuser which got the disparaging response from Pelosi. You might remember who Rosen is… he’s the reporter that Obama illegally spied on. Yeah, that one.
“I wonder if you could explain to the American people, why the legal rights of the whistleblower should prevail in this political setting over those of President Trump, who should ordinarily enjoy a right to confront his accuser?” Rosen asked.
“Well, let me just say this, I will say to you, Mr. Republican talking points, what I said to the President of the United States,” Pelosi said while gesturing to Rosen. “When you talk about the whistleblower, you’re coming into my wheelhouse. I have more experience in intelligence than anybody in the Congress.” What an arrogant witch.

From Fox News:
“Pelosi then said that she would “vehemently” defend the rights of the whistleblower.
“Any retribution or harm coming to a whistleblower undermines our ability to hear truth about power,” she said.
“Rosen, who used to work at Fox News, asked why the whistleblower’s rights are more important than President Trump’s.
“Well, the president can come, if he has a case to make, does he want to come speak? Does he want… in writing or speak to the committee about, what might be exculpatory? He has that right,” Pelosi said. “Nobody should have the right to endanger whistleblowers.”
“Rosen directed Fox News to a tweet he sent following the exchange when asked for comment.
“The question I asked @SpeakerPelosi Pelosi as a reporter for @WeAreSinclair was fair and respectful. Her reply descended to personal insult without addressing the substance, and was accordingly beneath her office. I later asked @GOPLeader tough questions. It’s called journalism,” he wrote.
“Earlier Thursday on “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said the whistleblower should testify before Congress and reveal any political biases, which is a point many have made recently. Jordan even singled out Schiff and accused him of flip-flopping on having the whistleblower testify before the House.”

This is vintage Pelosi. She’s a vicious, power-hungry hag and this is how the left views all of us. Just remember a cornered rabid dog will snap at you like this when they are scared and desperate. Just think of it that way politically.
She also accused Trump of bribery and that it was an impeachable offense. Except that Trump never bribed anyone. Made up crimes for fake proceedings led by empty suits spouting lies. “The devastating testimony corroborated evidence of bribery uncovered in the inquiry and that the president abused power and violated his oath,” Pelosi told reporters during a press conference on Capitol Hill. “It’s in the Constitution. You know, talking Latin around here, from anyone. Quid pro quo. Bribery. Bribery. And that is in the Constitution attached to the impeachment proceedings,” she added. What rubbish.
The Constitution in Article II Section 4 says the president can be removed “from office on impeachment for, and conviction of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.” This is a reach even for the left but bribery is the only thing they’ve got and they don’t have that either.

The speaker said the bribe was the nearly $400 million in military assistance the administration withheld on the allegation President Trump wanted a statement from Ukraine that it would investigate the Bidens and unproven charges about the 2016 election. “The bribe is to grant or withhold military assistance in return for a public statement of a fake investigation into the elections. That’s bribery,” Pelosi said. Except the Ukraine Foreign Minister says it never happened that way.
Pelosi also called on Trump to prove his innocence in this press conference. Gee… I thought it was innocent until proven guilty. Silly me. Scratch the Constitution, scratch due process… hang em’ high evidently.
This farce will never get past the Senate and it could start a civil uprising. Perhaps the left should consider history and what happened to those who started witch hunts like this – it never ends well for them.
