Maxine Waters Tells Trump To Resign Or Get Impeached
Maxine Waters is a broken record with two sides: Resign! Impeach! Resign! IMPEACH!
While speaking at a TIME 100 Gala last night, the California Democrat asked Donald Trump to “please resign” so that she can stop her own struggle to get him impeached. Waters has a busy schedule, you see, and it’s currently filled from Monday to Friday with yelling at Trump to give up the position he won fair and square.
When someone in the audience asked a question of Waters, she gave this advice to Donald Trump:
“I don’t think [Trump] deserves to be there. Just get out.”
Beautiful reasoning skills, lady. The thrilling oration was delivering at an annual fancy event in New York City that brings together Democrats, that is, celebrities and big name figures who then go on to celebrate their own achievements as trumpeted by TIME magazine.
In the latest issue, Maxine Waters was declared to be one of the many influencers. She was praised by an actor who said that she was:
“…so eloquent in letting the world, particularly the white men of Congress who dare test her acumen, know that she is not here for any nonsense.”
When you run out of arguments, start bringing up race. Works every time. Except in the last few years people have completely tuned out “you’re racist!” and “white male!” arguments because we know that it means exactly nothing.
Previously, Maxine Waters had called Trump the “move horrible man” she’d ever seen in her life but that she will not be “intimidated by him.”
At the start of the year, Waters went on a hateful meltdown over Trump:
“I have called him what I know him to be for a long time. Remember when I called him a scumbag. I’ve called him a racist, deplorable, despicable, adding to what others are calling him –– a moron, ignorant, on and on and on.”
And in 2017, she gave a speech that seemed to support the outright murder of the President. Oddly, this speech was given at a meeting of people who were involved with raising money for health care-oriented goals, not a meeting for assassins.
“I’m sitting here listening, watching, absorbing, thinking about Ali even though I never met him. And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take out Trump tonight,” she said as the crowd roared in approval and Waters pumped her fist.”
In 2013, when the ‘death panels’ of Sarah Palin warning against the dangers of socialist health care were still being mocked, an editor of TIME was caught quietly walking back on his laughs about the idea when they started to come true under Obamacare.
Truly the experts on race relations, TIME Magazine famously said in 2014 that the violence of the riots in Ferguson was “necessary” and they compared the break-ins, torched cars and stolen goods to the people who participated in the Boston Tea Party.
And when they named Donald Trump the Person of the Year back in 2016 after winning the election through sheer force of will and the grassroots support of citizens, you knew it was a disappointment for them as the magazine had already published several covers outright mocking the candidate, making fun of his apparent ‘meltdowns’ and ‘total meltdowns.’ And when they gave Trump the presidential cover, they called him the “President of the Divided States of America” where eight years previous they called Obama simply “President.”
Trump: Maxine is ‘Low IQ’
Last month, Trump mocked Waters for having a low IQ during at least two public appearances. First, at the annual Gridiron Club dinner where he said that she should take an IQ test, and then later during a speech where he talked about her “very low IQ.” Trump said:
“Did you ever see [Maxine?] Did you ever see her? ‘We will impeach him, we will impeach the president… it doesn’t matter, we will impeach him.’ She’s a low IQ individual. You can’t help it.”
In response, Waters called the “low IQ” insult a “racist remark,” because of course calling someone stupid is racism. Maybe Trump wouldn’t call you low IQ if you picked up a second hobby, like taking care of your state instead of yelling into the void about Trump this, Trump that.
