Liberals and the MSM have done all they can to attack President Trump and White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Liberals continue to attack Trump’s pro-America policies and block his agenda to ‘Make America Great Again’. Just when you think they couldn’t go any lower, they had the nerve to attack Sanders’ faith.
This week, The Washington Post ran a story called “How Sarah Huckabee Sanders Sees The World.” The tone is entirely predictable for the left-wing paper.
The story made a point of talking about Sanders’ faith, however — a subject liberals love nothing more than to harp on.
The writer of the article, Michelle Boorstein, first attempted to color the image of Sanders by referencing a snide “Saturday Night Live” portrayal, couldn’t help making Sanders look good.
When Sanders was asked, back in June, whether President Donald Trump was the kind of man she’d use as an example to her kids, she said the following:
“As a person of faith, I think we all have one perfect role model. And when I’m asked that question, I point to God. I point to my faith. And that’s where I always tell my kids to look.”
Boorstein almost could have had a sweet moment in showing what Sanders is really like. Instead, she fouled it up badly with an attack on God, Evangelicals, and Trump simultaneously.
“Although some say the Trump-evangelical alliance harms Christianity,” she wrote, “it’s common to hear other conservative Christians say that Trump’s unexpected win — down to the Electoral College — shows that God had a more-deliberate-than-usual hand, and has put Trump there for some reason.”
The mocking tone makes high school students sound mature: “God had a more-deliberate-than-usual-hand”? Somehow the sarcasm was missing in the post when media outlets from Newsweek to Rolling Stone were putting Barack Obama on their covers with halos signifying a divinity among men.
That’s right! Those on the left all thought Obama was the ‘messiah’ including Barbara Walters. Remember Walters interview with Piers Morgan? The media all thought Obama was the ‘next messiah’ because of all of his false promises. Back in 2013, in the Morgan interview Walters said of Obama,
“He made so many promises. We thought that he was going to be – I shouldn’t say this at Christmastime, but – the next messiah. And the whole Obamacare or whatever you want to call it, that Affordable Health Act, it just hasn’t worked for him and he’s stumbled around on it, and people feel very disappointed because they expected more.”
In reality, Obama sold out Americans on a bad bag of goods. Obama promised ‘hope and change’. There was total change but very little hope. In addition, Americans who voted for the first black president hoping he would ‘unite’ our country, witnessed instead the most racially divided country since the 60’s.
Obama a ‘messiah’? Hardly. He was more like a mess or better yet…total disaster!
When Donald Trump was elected president he promised to restore faith and protect religious freedom in America, unlike Obama.
But the Washington Post impled that Christianity was harmed by Evangelicals’ voting for and supporting Donald Trump.
They’re saying that some folks believe that the idea of Christ dying on the cross for all mankind’s sins is harmed because Evangelicals don’t support the same political agenda they do.
Liberals just don’t get it! Thank goodness for Evangelicals and Sarah Huckabee Sanders who understand the importance of faith and putting God first, her response was perfect.
Point to God! Amen!
If there’s one thing about Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she seems to have a real talent for dealing with reporters. She doesn’t hold back and will often rip into the media for their dishonest coverage of Trump and his administration. Sarah Huckabee Sanders…says it like it is and sounds a lot like President Trump when it comes to dealing with the liberals and the MSM.
Nobody said restoring faith in America would be easy. But understanding that faith comes from God…Trump and Sanders certainly have that right! If Americans want to restore faith in America, we need to put our faith in God.
