Kanye West has a ‘Radical’ message for Jesus Christ:
I must confess upfront that I do not know a single song by Kanye West – but Kanye does not write or produce music for me, so that’s cool. I do know his positions on race, Capitalism, President Trump, the First Amendment and his taste in women. The public sex tapes aside (if you can put that aside for just a moment) I also admire his wife, Kim Kardashian. She’s not stupid, in fact – she’s quite intelligent and overly generous, not to mention ambitious.
And now I know Kanye’s thoughts on religion – specifically, Christianity:
In the August issue of Forbes, Kanye let’s it fly about how his mental health was saved by… wait for it: His faith in — and “radical obedience” to — Jesus Christ:
Rewind to three years ago, when West claimed to be $53 million in debt, just before canceling the back of a lucrative arena tour and checking into a Los Angeles hospital for over a week with symptoms of sleep deprivation and temporary psychosis. West credits his turnaround to religious beliefs (“being in service to Christ, the radical obedience”) —and, on occasion, to being bipolar. Call him creative, call him chaotic—just don’t call him crazy. Like some entrepreneurs with conditions like ADHD and Asperger’s, he sees his diagnosis not as a hindrance but as a “superpower” that unlocks his imagination.
From The Daily Wire:
Following the success of the song “Jesus Walks,” Kanye has maintained he believes in God and Jesus Christ. In 2014, while performing at a show in Australia, he proclaimed himself to be a “married, Christian man.”
“I’m not judging but I’m just going to tell you who I am. I’m a married, Christian man,” he told the crowd.
Talk about UN-checking the boxes? Kanye is the collectivists worse nightmare: A famous black artist who loves President Trump, espouses Capitalism, free-thinking by minorities and — omg not this?
We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a tax payer. I am myself. God is with us.

Kanye is an unusual artist. So was Vincent Van Gogh. Here’s me dressed as Van Gogh on Halloween. I carry around a small box in my pocket with a fake bloody ear that was cut off, for when people ask who I am. Total winner, by the way – always wins the costume contests.
But I digress.. Kanye’s been publicly sporting a Christian faith for quite some time. And recently, he’s created Sunday Service events consisting of gospel music for the sake of a “healing experience.”
Just hearing music as our Sunday Service was super inspiring. See you next Sunday ✨

Anticipating the rapper’s Service at Coachella in April, Wife Kim spoke to Elle:
“[T]his will be my first time ever going to Coachella, and I’m so excited to be a part of it for the first time. And [the church], it’s honestly more like a healing experience for my husband. It’s just music; there’s no sermon. It’s definitely something he believes in—Jesus—and there’s a Christian vibe. But there’s no preaching. It’s just a very spiritual Christian experience.”

So I listened to a Kanye song and I’m just not the target audience – but maybe you’ll enjoy this one?
I think Kanye is a good person who tries to be honest and fair. Good luck to him. I wish him well. He seems to have his share of demons. Remember folks, strange ways.
