Kamala Harris’ Own Dad Disassociates Her Presidential Candidacy: ‘A Travesty’

Kamala Harris has some HUGE new opposition from a rather unexpected place; her own father!

He is rather upset about her latest support of marijuana legalization.

When Harris said last week that she supports legalization of marijuana and has smoked it in the past, she cited her ethnicity.

“Half my family’s from Jamaica. Are you kidding me?” Harris stated.

Donald Harris called his daughter’s remarks a “travesty” and accused her of stereotyping.

Professor Harris has issued a statement to jamaicaglobalonline.com in which he declares:

“My dear departed grandmothers(whose extraordinary legacy I described in a recent essay on this website), as well as my deceased parents , must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics.

Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.”

Jamaica Global fretted that the remarks by Ms. Harris — an early front-runner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination — could fuel stereotypes of Jamaicans and cited U.S. news outlets’ headlines and columnists using the image.

Kamala had already been facing opposition from all sides after admitting to prolonged marijuana usage in her younger adult years.

Harris claims that the use was during her college years, but her descriptions of what she was doing at the time point to a much later period in her life!

The Democrat Presidential candidate announced on a radio show this month that she had smoked marijuana regularly in college… while listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.

But that is impossible! Harris graduated from Howard University in 1986. She went on and graduated from the University of California’s. Hasting’s College of the Law in 1989.

Harris went on to serve as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California, from 1990 to 1998.

Snoop Dogg didn’t get his start until 1992, and Tupac Shakur blew up off of the soundtrack for the 1991 film Nothing But Trouble.

Harris was a deputy district attorney at that time, sincerely well into her tenure before both artists would be mainstream.

Needless to say, her ‘admitted’ pot smoking era is a huge issue throughout her career!

During Harris’ tenure as the California’s AG “at least 1,560 people were sent to state prisons for marijuana-related offenses between 2011 and 2016. That’s an estimated 1,560 people in the span of just five years. That’s an average rate of 312 people imprisoned for pot-related offenses per year.

While she is prosecuting, she knows what she did! When did she stop smoking marijuana?

That was on the heals of the revelation that Kamala was aware of the sexual assault claim against, Larry Wallace, a longtime aide and one of her closest professional confidantes.

She had previously stated that she was not aware of the situation until much later.

The sexual assault claim had arrived at the California Department of Justice three months before Harris left the attorney general’s office.

Early December Harris, declared herself a Democrat presidential candidate. She did her best to represent she was “unaware” that her top aide was being slapped with harassment accusations.

Lily Adams, a spokeswoman for Harris, stated at the time:

“We were unaware of this issue and take accusations of harassment extremely seriously. This evening, Mr. Wallace offered his resignation to the senator, and she accepted it.”

Wallace had been a close friend and top aid for a decade and a half.

But an intake form from the Equal Employment Rights and Resolution Office, which oversees discrimination investigations and compliance at the Department of Justice, shows that the department was first notified on Oct. 3, 2016, of Danielle Hartley’s intent to pursue legal action.

With Bernie Sanders entering the race, Kamala has been knocked out of front-runner status.

How long will she last? It is rumored that there is much more to come.
