Iran: We Will Level Tel Aviv To The Ground
An Iranian government minister has warned that Tel Aviv will be leveled to the ground if the Israeli Prime Minister keeping showing off.
During a security forum, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed off something taken from the Iranians, and after a day, the Iranian response when from ignoring the speech to threatening to bomb almost half a million people off the map.
Israel At the Munich Security Conference
President Netanyahu spoke at the Security Conference in Germany on Sunday, holding above him a piece of an unmanned Iranian drone shot down over Israeli airspace last week. He said that Iran should not “test Israel’s resolve.”

In the audience was Iranian Foriegn Minister Javad Zarif who later spoke to the conference later in the day. He called Netanyahu’s actions “cartoonish.”
“You were the audience for a cartoonish circus just this morning, which does not even deserve the dignity of a response. So let’s move to more serious issues.
But, respond they did.
The Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council, which serves as an advisory pool for the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, responded to the Israeli Prime Minister the day after his presentation.
In translation, Secretary Mohsen Rezayee gave this response:
“About Netanyahu’s unwise words, I should say that if they carry out the slightest unwise move against Iran, we will level Tel Aviv to the ground and will not give any opportunity to Netanyahu to flee.”
Rezayee did not dismiss the Israeli presentation as the “cartoonish circus” that the Foreign Minister believed it to be, but rather said that both America and Israel think themselves to be in decline:
“The US and Israeli leaders don’t know Iran and don’t understand the power of resistance and therefore, they continuously face defeat.”
Government Sponsored News: Origin of the Threat
The comments were posted by the Fars News Agency, which calls itself “Iran’s leading independent news agency.” The agency, founded in 2003, provides reports in the Persian Farsi language as well as in English, Arabic and Turkish. They are considered to be the semi-official news agency of the Iranian government.
In 2012, the agency republished a piece from the satirical news site The Onion which said that more Americans would rather vote for the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than Barack Obama. Later, after apologizing for the mistake, the agency still claimed that citizens would prefer someone “outside of the American political system” to Obama.
In 2016 the agency has offered $30,000 to anyone who can kill author Salman Rushdie who published the anti-Islamic novel The Satanic Verses.
Before attending the conference, Netanyahu and wife Sara visited the German memorial to the 11 Israeli athletes who were killed in Munich during the 1972 Olympic cycle.
Searching for news on rockets lobbed into Israel is tiring, because they’re constant.

Secretary Rezayee states to Fars News that “Americans who thought that they are the world’s numbe rone power after the collapse of the former Soviet Union are now growing weaker and weaker.” Right now, the regime claims to not be helping out the Lebanese and Palestinian-based attacks against Israel. The excuse to not want to directly agitate Israel would be that Iran wants all countries in the Middle East to stand up for themselves (except for Israel, of course).
The threats are real, the fearmongering is real, but what is Israel to do? …beside what they’ve always done in protecting their borders?
Self Preservation in Israel
There are major targets in Israel. Tel Aviv can be chosen as a target because it is the second most populated city in the country despite its 438,000 people. The city was founded outside of the ancient port city Jaffa, which was famous for having been the most successful hold in the Middle East during Richard the Lionheart’s crusade to fight Saladin.
In the past we’ve written up about what might happen if Tel Aviv becomes a prime target, and right now it looks like it still is. Whether the Trump-side decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem will make that holy city the top target again is yet to be seen.
Of course, none of these threats would have been so well made if Obama hadn’t gone through with his terrible Iran Deal, which tripped up a task force tracking the sale of illegal weapons and drugs in order to get back a few prisoners. The Iranians have given a pinky-swear that they won’t work on any nuclear weapons, and in exchange American sent over hundreds of millions of dollars and crippled the investigation that was looking to zone in on arresting big names involved with Hezbollah.
While he was still in office, General Michael Flynn made sure to put Iran “on notice” for their missile testing.
The Iranian threat lies on their idea that America is weak. The threat is real, but they just won’t get too far with that attitude. Not with Trump.
