Iran Lied, Is Anyone Surprised
The Israelis have released hard copy evidence stolen from Iran showing that the country has been lying to the world about the nuclear deal they signed with Obama in 2015.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a presentation a few hours ago that used props and powerpoint to dramatic show off the evidence obtained by the country’s intelligence that shows that Iranians have not complied with the infamous nuclear deal.
The Israeli government has obtained for themselves “half a ton” of Iranian secret documents that prove for once and for all that the government in Tehran had a nuclear weapons program at one point. In the video below, Prime Minister Netanyahu showed off a representation of the 55,000 documents and 183 discs worth of information from the “nuclear archives” of Iran.
“After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files. In 2017, Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran.”
The evidence shows that the Iranians had built Project Amad with intent to develop a nuclear weapon. This directly contradicts the basis of the Iran Nuclear Deal considered to be the crowning moment in the career of Barack Hussein Obama.
The information presented by Netanyahu was gathered over the last week and a half:
“These files conclusively prove that Iran is brazenly lying when it says it never had a nuclear weapons program.”
Trump Briefed This Weekend
The first non-Israeli to hear this information was President Trump.
On Saturday, Benjamin Netanyahu personally briefed Donald Trump about the contents of this intelligence and then spoke with the new Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Sunday. Other leaders in Europe were made aware, but not until this morning a few hours before the presentation.
Trump has repeatedly called to exit the Nuclear Deal signed between Obama and the Iranian government. But, on May 12th, the deal is up for a re-certification and Trump has the power to refuse to continue.
Speaking with the audience, Netanyahu spoke of this deadline, saying that soon,
“…President Trump… will make a decision on what to do with the nuclear deal. I’m sure he’ll do the right thing, the right thing for the United States, the right thing for Israel, the right thing for the peace of the world.”
Yesterday, Mike Pompeo doubled down on the American line on Iran noting that the US will stand with Israel in “this fight” while offering some support for the Saudis.
Exclusive Interview: Iranian Activist Warned Us In 2015
While Obama was still in office, we interviewed Manda Zand Ervin, an Iranian political refugee who escaped to America in the 1980s. At the time, the Iran Nuclear Deal was still in the works, and Ervin said that if America gives $150 billion to Iran it will go to their “old friend, Russia.”
She indicates that Russia has already contracted to sell S-300 surface-to-air missiles to Iran, which will bring Iran closer to having an advanced air defense capability.
Additionally, she said that Iran and Russia had entered into a contract in which Russia will be building two energy facilities for Iran on the Persian Gulf coast. She states that Iran had previously paid Russia to upgrade their existing nuclear energy plants. Russia will benefit once again by securing even more Iranian funds, according to Ervin.
Other Middle Eastern Coverage
The magazine Al Jazeera is a state-funded broadcaster from Qatar. Their English language coverage of the incident was only posted a few minutes ago with the bare facts, but they did include this tweet from their correspondent trying to stir up interest in starting WW3.
Were Israel’s strikes against #Syria/Iranian bases more effective than US UK Fr strikes? Will Iran or/and Syria retaliate? Is that why Lieberman cut his DC visit? Will #Netanyahu put Iran on notice tonight? War? Drawing in US & #Russian military? Will discuss soon on @AJEnglish

Some of the comments on the video call Netanyahu a “facist” and accuse him of announcing the files as if they were the new iPhone. Another person misplaces the blame and claims that Iran “became a nuclear country under Trump.” Another person accuses Israel of having their “heart set on war with Iran.” One person thanked him for sharing the facts, saying that it’s “a shame that our last US President sent them billions.”
The best comment is the person who’s upset that only CNN has a video of the presentation up on YouTube, reminding us that “CNN is fake news” and that it was Obama, not the Israelis, who gave the Iranians money to build nukes.
