‘You Should Be Ashamed’ LIVID First Mom Strikes Back at Impeachment Witness That Joked About Barron At Hearing
The First Mom did not find it one bit funny when Pamela Karlan used Barron as the butt of her bad taste joke.
Pamela Karlan, a Stanford University law professor as well as one of Jerry Nadler’s impeachment witnesses, took a jab at the President’s young son Barron during her testimony. She had been asked to describe the differences between a U.S. president and a king. She took the opportunity to make a wisecrack and brought up the first son’s name.
‘The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron,’ Karlan told lawmakers.
I have a feeling that this will be Karlan’s legacy, as it was not many minutes after that the firestorm began, starting with the First MOM!
Melania stated that Karlan should be ashamed of herself:
“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics,” the First Mom tweeted. “Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.”

The First Mom’s tweet was read aloud during the Judiciary Committee hearing.
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham was one of many that also expressed distaste comment.
“Classless move by a Democratic ‘witness’. Prof Karlan uses a teenage boy who has nothing to do with this joke of a hearing (and deserves privacy) as a punchline,” Grisham tweeted. “And what’s worse, it’s met by laughter in the hearing room. What is being done to this country is no laughing matter.”
Karlan, hours later, and during the hearing, apologized for the remark. A 5th grader could have litterally written it..
“I want to apologize for what I said earlier about the president’s son. It was wrong of me to do that,” Karlan said during the hearing.
Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., would also confront Karlan during the hearing as well for what he called her “little joke” about Barron.
‘Let me also suggest that when you invoke the president’s son’s name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump, that does not lend credibility to your argument, it makes you look mean,’ Gaetz said. ‘It makes you look like you’re attacking someone’s family – the minor child of the president of the United State’s family.’
“It does not lend credibility to your argument. It makes you look mean,” Gaetz said.
Uncle Donald Trump Jr., the president’s oldest son, also took swipes at Karlan.
‘Remember only children of Liberals (even the 50 year old children) are off limits. That a 13 year old is fair game for partisan hacks on a national platform shows you all you need to know about the new left and who is now running the ship,’ Don Jr. tweeted.
The White House Twitter account also excoriated Karlan, ‘Democrats are calling as witnesses the kind of people who would name the minor child of the President as a punchline in a committee hearing.’
Karlan was shredded as a witness, on top of embarrassing herself by attacking a 13 year old First Son.
Rep. Matt Gaetz went off on Democrats’ impeachment witnesses, repeatedly prodding the Constitutional scholars on whether they donated to Democratic campaigns such as Barack Obama’s.
