Former NFL Player Randy Moss Has A Strong Message For Anthem Protesters On Set of ESPN

Tired of hearing about NFL protesters yet? Or maybe the question should be are you tired of defending our military yet? Without our military, there would be no protests! So when is this NFL nonsense going to stop? Now a former NFL distinguished player, Randy Moss is turning on the protesters or as he would call them ‘losers’.

During his appearance on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown,” the former Vikings and Patriots standout heaped praise on Houston Texans’ standout J.J. Watt for his efforts to aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

He also took time to rip what he described as the “losers” who were protesting racism while there were more all-encompassing human tragedies in the world.

Moss, 40, also pledged to help former NBA star Stephen Jackson’s relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey’s victims.

“Over the last month, we’ve had a lot of losers out here in our country protesting racism and doing a lot of negative stuff that puts a lot of bad shame on our country,” Moss said.

The term “losers” seemed to rub a lot of people the wrong way, but it seemed apt for the situation he was describing.

He didn’t elaborate on who exactly what he was talking about, but one can easily infer that he was talking about the growing dearth of NFL players who have been choosing the playing of the national anthem as their platform to protest racial injustices.

Moss  compared the divisive nature of those protests with the unifying efforts of Watt.

When you see the things that J.J. Watt is doing, bringing winners together — you know, bringing a community and a whole state together,” Moss said.

And that’s really the point.

There’s a time and a place for everything. Having an uncomfortable conversation about societal problems is fine. But frankly, it’s counterproductive to try to have those conversations during the national anthem. It’s divisive and probably does more harm than good for whatever cause is being championed.

Former NFL Vikings player Randy Moss like most Americans believes that are so many other pressing issues in America.

Like how about protesting ‘black on black’ crimes? How about the NFL players step up and do something about that? Maybe work to ‘unite communities’ instead of creating division among races.

Maybe instead of insulting our military with your stupid 3-minute antics you can do something constructive in the bad neighborhoods to support law enforcement. I guess that would be too much to ask coming from some overpaid losers?

Hey, NFL losers! Guess what?!

As President Trump said, America is ‘fed up’ with your protests. America is fed up with your ‘disrespect’ to our country. America is ‘fed up’ with your anthem-protesters.

In fact, as President Trump said on Monday Night, the NFL is ‘out of control’.

“At least 24 players kneeling this weekend at NFL stadiums that are now having a very hard time filling up. The American public is fed up with the disrespect the NFL is paying to our Country, our Flag, and our National Anthem,” Trump tweeted. “Weak and out of control!”

According to a running week-by-week list by ESPN, more than 25 players either sat or took a knee for the National Anthem in Week 12 of the regular NFL season.

The president’s months-long feud with the league began in September at a rally in Alabama, when he called for players to be fired if they disrespected the flag.

The White House has repeatedly defended the president’s remarks, saying that it is “always appropriate” for the president of the United States to “defend” the flag and the anthem.

The protests have long drawn the ire of Trump, who views them as disrespectful and unpatriotic. In the past week alone, Trump has described the NFL on Twitter as “hemorrhaging” and claimed that the protests are “killing (the) league.” He has also been critical of commissioner Roger Goodell for failing to punish players who protest.

At a rally in Alabama in late September, Trump went so far as to describe players who demonstrate with an expletive.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now!'” Trump said.

Trump was also critical of another idea, tweeting, “The NFL is now thinking about a new idea – keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season. That’s almost as bad as kneeling! When will the highly paid Commissioner finally get tough and smart? This issue is killing your league!”

Trump’s right about the NFL and protesters, and so is former NFL player Randy Moss.

There are much more bigger problems to deal with than the NFL losers trying to continue to divide America like our former president. It’s time to unite this country. It’s time to do something productive to solve our problems together, rather than just protesting like NFL losers.

If the NFL players want to make a difference, more should follow in the footsteps of NFL Houston Texans J.J. Watt who raised over $30 million for Hurricane Harvey victims.

Or how about NFL Houston Texans Whitney Mercilus who donated $65,000 to a non-profit organization for kids with special needs who were hit by Hurricane Harvey.

How about do something CONSTRUCTIVE for a change?! Do something that will ACTUALLY benefit those in YOUR community! Do SOMETHING that will actually MAKE a difference!
