CNN: Minnesota Voters Walking Away From The Democrat Party
CNN’s Martin Savidge recently spoke with voters in a Democratic stronghold in Minnesota and found that local attitudes about politics have begun to shift in a dramatic way. Could Trump take the one state that Reagan couldn’t? What does that mean for the rest of the country?
“Are we talking about thousand’s of people sort of shifting and changing their politics?” Savidge asked a Democrat activist?
“Yes! Yes! we are!” He declared.
How big is this shift? Only time will tell, but CNN seemed to find that it was not a small sampling of Democrat voters that were shifting.
“Once a Democrat strong hold, many of the voters we talked to here say more and more they allied with the President.” Savidge goes on.
You can watch the full interview here, and I guarantee you will want to, whether you are for the President or against.

“Her two brothers were staunch union Democrats for years. And…they are NOT anymore!” said one interviewee!
What were the reasons? Seems to be:
“It’s the economy, stupid!”
The economy and jobs.
Mining industry. The very industry Democrat hopefuls are railing against.
The Taconite industry. Steel. Taconite is a low-grade iron ore.
The ‘Iron Belt’, which once thrived, was demolished. That same ‘Iron Belt’ has been the Democrat stronghold in Minnesota. Lose that…and the Democrats lose Minnesota. It looks like that is quickly becoming the case.
Even Mayor Robert Vlaisavljevich of Eveleth, MN, declares he votes Democrat on lower ballot, but he is all in for Trump. He has an office decorated in Trump. A Christmas Card from the President. A deer on the wall sports a MAGA Hat.
“Economics! Yep! [Trump’s] our guy!” says the Mayor of 18 years on and off.
“[Ilhan Omar] offends a lot of people!” He continues.
The Democrat party has jumped the shark!
“Folks here say they did not leave the Democrat party, the party left them.” Salvidge points out as he continues his conversation with Melissa Axelson. He husband works for a mining company.

“I think [the Democrat party has] changed. I see it and conservative candidates seem more for the working party.” Melissa stated,
“The Democrats kinda shifted more to the left.” said another Eveleth resident, Mike Volker. “The Republicans are taking over the party of jobs.”
Salvidge points out that Trump only lost Minnesota by 44,000 votes. That is out of 2.7 million.
Cindy Rugeley, an Associate Professor at University of Minnesota, stated, “I don’t think by any means that this is a lock-down Democrat state. And it used to be!”
Could Minnesota, the only state President Ronald Reagan could not take in his 49 state landslide, actually help hand President Trump a second term?
We all watched people be caught off guard as Trump won the Rust Belt in 2016. It literally handed him the White House.
And as all the screaming goes on, Democrats will have no one to blame but themselves. I said when they went all in for late-term abortion that they were jumping the shark. Now they are in for free-college, single-payer health care, open-borders…I could go on.
There is a civil war going on in the Democrat party between the moderates and the socialists. They have really moved themselves into a very bad position. If Biden wins, the left will be furious. If a socialist wins, they lose more than hard working men and women in Minnesota in the Iron Belt.
“It’s the economy, stupid!”
And that economy is roaring better than it has my entire life!
