Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to have forgotten an essential civics lesson from her early education days. However, 16-year-old CJ Pearson was more than willing to school the freshman congresswoman how the United States government is supposed to work. Pearson is not a high-schooler you want to get into a debate with on civics and ripped Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). First, watch her:
During an interview at a “Girls Who Code” event held in New York City, when OAC brushed off criticism of her Green New Deal proposal, young CJ was ready, willing and able to put the smackdown on her for her ignorance of pretty simple rules of government procedure.
Socialist on an ego-trip. How long before she puts on a uniform with a dozen medals? pic.twitter.com/bpVisJRzZy

Is it me or does she sound like an inexperienced bartender? “Like I just introduced the Green New Deal two weeks ago, and it’s creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried..” Wait – what? “So people are like, ‘Oh, it’s unrealistic. Oh, it’s vague. Oh, it doesn’t address this little minute thing,’ And I’m like, ‘You try. You do it. Cuz you’re not. Cuz you’re not. So, until you do it, I’m the boss.”
The comments were met with laughter. Then CJ roasted ‘the boss’:
Congresswoman – here’s a lesson you should have learned in HS civics: America is a nation for the people by the people.

“You are no one’s boss.” .. Indeed.
“America is a government for the people and by the people. So if anyone is the boss, it is we the people,” he continued. The well-known political highschooler reminded AOC of an important fact in how the Government is supposed to work.
“And to listen to you, drunk on power, as you sat on that stage, was nothing more than an affront to the office that you hold and a front to the role of public servant that you have in our society,” he explained.
The Green New Deal is a joke and should be treated like one, instead of being seemingly embraced by the 2020 Democrat candidates. They are a bunch of sheep who know better, but dare not run afoul of the numbskulls who now drive the Party:
Western Journal reports: Ocasio-Cortez’s resolution, which she co-authored with Democratic Sen Ed Markey of Massachusetts, calls for “a new national social, industrial and economic mobilization on a scale not seen since World War II and the New Deal.”
Its stated goals include transitioning the United States to 100 percent renewable energy and guaranteeing economic security to all its citizens.
To achieve to net-zero carbon emissions goal by 2030, the Green New Deal mandates the replacement of airplanes with high-speed trains, the rebuilding or retrofitting of all buildings in the country to new green standards, and the elimination of all combustion-engine vehicles.
Ocasio-Cortez also included some of her favorite government social programs in the resolution such as free universal healthcare and college education, government guaranteed employment, and paid family and medical leave, among other programs.
Bloomberg’s Noah Smith added up all of the costs of Ocasio-Cortez’s proposed Green New Deal, which included the proposed entitlement programs, and it ended up being around $6.6 trillion above the United States’ current annual spending.
In comparison, the United States government should be expected to dish out around $4.4 trillion in the 2019 fiscal year, as reported by the Congressional Budget Office.
Earlier in February, Pearson condemned Ocasio-Cortez for her chattering through the President’s State of the Union Address.
“[email protected] has been talking this entire speech and the woman next to her keeps trying to look the other way,” he tweeted at the time.
Representative Nydia Velazquez of New York answered his tweet saying, “Hi @TheCJPearson, I’m not ‘the woman sitting next to her.’ @AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) and I — and millions like us — are the future of this country. And you’re right to be afraid of us.”
I’m sorry, Congresswoman, but as @realDonaldTrump said – socialism will NOT be the future of this country.

Pearson answered, “I’m sorry, Congresswoman, but as @realDonaldTrump said – socialism will NOT be the future of this country.” “And Nydia, nothing about you nor @AOC scares me. It’s your policies- that jeopardize the stability of our nation and the future of my generation- that scare(s) me.”
It’s kids like CJ that give me hope. Spread this hope around! Not that CJ needs it, but c’mon!!
