Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is siding with approximately 1,000 protesters in Brooklyn who decided to get their violence on last night. Demonstrators jumped subway turnstiles and yelled anti-cop slogans to protest a crackdown on fare evasion and allegations of police brutality. 99% of the time the ones on the wrong end of a police action asked for it. These same people, including AOC, don’t want any prisons and no repercussions for any crime. They also want free rides on the subways there.
“Ending mass incarceration means challenging a system that jails the poor to free the rich,” the left-wing freshman congresswoman tweeted, retweeting a video of protesters jumping subway turnstiles in Brooklyn Friday night. Boy, she really wants riots in the streets. Tell me again why anyone would want to live in New York City? No wonder Trump wanted out of there.
From Fox News:
“In the video, protesters are shown helping each other jump turnstiles without paying the fare, while others are holding signs with slogans like “No cops, no fares.” One straphanger who did choose to pay the fare can be heard being yelled at by a protester.
“How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D,” protesters in the video chant. But the anti-cop chants heard in the video didn’t prevent Ocasio-Cortez from lending her support to their actions.
“Arresting people who can’t afford a $2.75 fare makes no-one safer and destabilizes our community,” she said. “New Yorkers know that, they’re not having it and they’re standing up for each other.”
“Other videos and images from the same protest that were not shared by Ocasio-Cortez showed banners that said: “Punch that cop!” “Don’t let these pigs touch us,” and “Hit em!”
“The New York Post reported that protesters cited both a planned crackdown on fare evasion and two controversial incidents involving police officers in Brooklyn that they say are examples of police brutality as reasons for the protest.
“The Post reported that a group of demonstrators later surrounded a nearby MTA bus and vandalized it with slogans such as “F—k NYPD and NYPD K*K.”
“I’m not gonna lie, it was scary,” one passenger told The Post.”

The mob of protesters started gathering in Downtown Brooklyn near Barclays Center at about 7 pm Friday, with their signs reflecting the dual nature of the march. While some signs bore slogans such as ‘Don’t let these pigs touch us,’ ‘F**k the police,’ ‘Punch that cop’ and ‘NYPD out of MTA,’ other signs read ‘Free transit,’ ‘Poverty is not a crime’ and ‘Our subways need more $ for elevators, not for cops.’
Over the course of the two-hour protest, participants blocked traffic, shouted obscenities at nearby officers, jumped the subway turnstile en masse and committed acts of vandalization. Videos taken during the protest showed people chanting ‘Shut this racist system down’ on the street, while those inside a subway station were seen standing behind a barricade and shouting: “How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D,” while holding up their middle fingers at police officers standing a few feet away.

Only two people were arrested amid the chaotic anti-police protest in Brooklyn, including a woman who scrawled “PIGS” on a cop car, authorities said. Another man, 22, was issued a summons after allegedly spitting at officers. The graffiti incident comes a day after a large crowd sneered at police officers struggling to remove trash thrown onto their car in Brownsville.
These criminals vandalized NYPD squad cars on Halloween by covering them with trash as bystanders mocked police officers by shouting, “Trick or treat, motherf***ers!” Residents and passersby laughed and taunted two police officers as they removed trash from their vehicle. One man filming a video stated: “This is what happens in the hood. Police get trash!”

Rabid mobs protested the subway laws the next day by hopping the turnstiles and calling the police racist for enforcing the law. The growing criminal element in NYC is turning on the police and it is only a matter of time until something truly horrid happens there. You can thank those such as Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo for creating this kind of cop-hating atmosphere in New York.
In a recent statement, the Police Benevolent Association of New York blamed lawmakers who foment violence against cops by repeatedly demonizing and trashing law enforcement. That would include AOC. “Our anti-cop lawmakers have gotten their wish: the NYPD is now frozen… We are approaching the point of no return.”
This is New York City and it’s getting worse each and every day. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is inciting violence against police there — she should have to answer for that.
