Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight released a video via Twitter last night embracing Trump’s presidency once again wholeheartedly by stating: “Donald Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.” He released the video as a message to the American people urging them not to be “fooled by the political left.”

America, he states, is “witnessing triumph” and is “stronger, safer, and with more jobs because our president has made his every move correct.” This is not the first time that Voight has released a message concerning Trump via Twitter. And it is not the first time he has compared President Trump to Abraham Lincoln. In April, he offered a brief address on Twitter in support of Fox News host Laura Ingraham, who he says “we need very much at this time when our president is being attacked with lies and slanders from the media.”

Jon Voight was among Trump’s earliest supporters and openly defied Hollywood and the left in his support for the president. Since then, he has ardently defended the accomplishments of Trump. He spoke a number times at various events during Trump’s inauguration, including during the inauguration concert, during which he declared, “God answered our prayers.”

Voight is one of the strongest voices from Hollywood for Trump. There are a number of actors there who support the president but few will speak up out of fear of being blacklisted by leftists in Tinsel Town. Voight is currently working with Dennis Quaid on a drama on Ronald Reagan, which follows the actor-turned-president from “his childhood to his time in the oval office.” Voight also recently played Justice Warren E. Burger in the film “Roe v. Wade” (in post-production), which tells the story of the “national battle in this untold conspiracy that led to the most famous and controversial court case in history.” He was fearless stepping into the abortion battle.

Per the Daily Wire: “Along with his roles in several television series over his decades-long career, Voight has starred in major films from a wide range of genres, including “Catch-22” (1970), “Deliverance” (1972), “Heat” (1995), “Mission Impossible” (1996), “Transformers” (2007) and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (2016). Voight was nominated for Academy Awards for best actor in a leading role for “Midnight Cowboy” (1969) and “Runaway Train” (1985) and best actor in a supporting role for “Ali” (2001). In 1979, he won the Oscar for best actor in a leading role for “Coming Home” (1978). He’s also won several Golden Globes, including two for his role as Mickey Donovan.”

In Voight’s video, he speaks directly to the Republicans in America… he is addressing conservatives – the moral majority. “I know that you’ll agree with me when I say that our president has our utmost respect and our love,” Voight began. “This job is not easy for he’s battling the left and their absurd words of destruction. … Our nation has been built on the solid ground from our forefathers and there is a moral code of duty that has been passed on from President Lincoln.”

Voight wrapped it up by saying: “Don’t be fooled by the political left because we are the people of this nation that is witnessing triumph,” Voight continued. “So let us stand with our president, let us stand for this truth that President Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. God bless America.”

The left is beside themselves over Voight’s conservative leanings. From Meaww:

“It has been an incredible turnaround in philosophies for the actor, who was once a supporter of John F. Kennedy and claimed his assassination traumatized him.

“Voight had put in work for George McGovern’s voter registrations efforts in the inner cities of Los Angeles, actively protested the Vietnam War, and even made public appearances alongside Jane Fonda and Leonard Bernstein in support of the leftist Unidad Popular group in Chile before seemingly having a change of heart in 2008.

“He then came out to express his regret at his “youthful anti-war activism” and called it the result of “Marxist propaganda,” going on to criticize Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama before his 2009 ascendancy to the Oval Office. Since then, he has actively endorsed Republican candidates, backing both Mitt Romney and Trump during their subsequent bids for the presidency.”

Voight’s support of Trump has been very strong since the beginning of his presidency. Speaking at a political rally in January 2017 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, Voight said, “God answered all our prayers” by granting Trump the White House. “And President Lincoln, who sits here with us,” Voight said, “I’m sure is smiling knowing America will be saved by an honest and good man who will work for all the people, no matter their creed or color.”

This is a man sure of his principles and is unwavering in his support of President Trump who will surely serve a second term at this rate.
