UNBELIEVABLE: The Horror That Socialists Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders Support for America!
As Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders have mainstreamed Socialism into the Democrat Party, we are seeing the full ramifications in Venezuela.
History always tells us what the end of the socialism road looks like, and it is a horror in South America.
Not only is the country starving and in the midst of rioting and government overthrow, the people of Venezuela are finding themselves marked with numbers just to be able to eat.
The food shortage, a direct and common result of socialism, is chilling. When everything is controlled by the government, then you have government solutions.
The lines to buy food in what are now socialist government supermarkets have gotten so long that disorder has resulted. The government is now putting numbers in black pen. No number, no food.
It is the government solution to keep order. Can it happen in the United States? Maybe not next year. But if we keep heading towards socialism, it will get there. It always does.
The Business Insider explains just how bad the government created food shortage really is:
According to a source familiar with what’s going on, this number-scribbling takes place outside large cities like Caracas, and it doesn’t happen in private supermarkets. However, private supermarkets can set a limit to the number of items a person can buy. For example: You can only pick up 4 liters of milk, 2 liters of oil, 2 kilos of sugar etc.
And that’s if the market even has those items. People also have numbers on their ID cards, which decide which days they can even get in line to shop at supermarkets like San Cristobal’s Bicentenario, according to AFP.
Protests taking place all over the country aren’t helping either. Demonstrators have been building barricades, which are slowing the flow of goods from place to place.
Armando Mirando, vice president of the Tachira State Bakeries Association, told AFP that San Cristobal could run out of bread by Tuesday…
“We already had shortages before and now nothing is arriving,” Mirando said after addressing a “peace conference” organized by the government to end the protests but shunned by the opposition as a sham.
Most shops and restaurants are closed in the city of 260,000 people.
On Friday, Maduro got on TV and said that smuggling food into the country is more profitable than selling cocaine.
Democrats used to speak of ‘Democratic Socialism”. They said it would be different this time. The United States could do it correct.
But Ocasio-Cortez has thrown that out. She admitted this last week that she was basically calling for almost full government control.
NPR host Steve Inskeep asked Ocasio-Cortez last week about the issue of full government control.
“One reason that people who are politically conservative are skeptical of efforts to combat climate change is that it sounds to them like it requires massive government intervention, which they just don’t like,” Inskeep asked. “Are you prepared to put on that table that, ‘Yes actually they’re right, what this requires is massive government intervention?‘”
Ocasio-Cortez responded: “It does, it does, yeah, I have no problem saying that.”
But obviously someone, like Nancy Pelosi, got to her. Explained that they cannot tell the truth of their endgame, because that afternoon, Ocasio-Cortez changed her tune:
“I think one way that the right does try to mischaracterize, uh, what we’re doing as though it’s, like, some kind of massive government takeover,” Ocasio-Cortez told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd.
But the cat is already out of the bag.
We know EXACTLY where Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders want us to go. As long as it is fair for everyone, it doesn’t matter what the result. Including marked numbers on arms just to eat.
