Purple Heart Triple-Amputee Brian Kolfage Is Aggressively Groped By TSA At Tucson Airport

Brian Kolfage is a Purple Heart triple-amputee veteran who runs Right Wing News. Recently, he was banned by Facebook for his conservative views. Brian then set about to raise money from Americans to build a wall on our southern border raising over $20 million. Most of his time is spent on the border getting the endeavor going. That means going through TSA when he flies… a humiliating and disgusting experience for the war hero every single time.

Kolfage, 37, was filmed by a fellow traveler being aggressively searched by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents in Tuscon, Arizona. He was subjected to an ‘invasive TSA pat down’ on Saturday morning at Tuscon International Airport, following a ‘We Build The Wall’ rally in Sahuarita, which took place on Friday.

Brian lost both legs and part of his arm in the Middle East protecting America from terrorists. His treatment engendered disgust and outrage on social media. Governor Mike Huckabee had this to say: “Watch this disgusting treatment of my friend @BrianKolfage a decorated war hero, purple heart recipient and triple amputee from war injuries. There is NO excuse for this! @DHSgov should explain how this makes us safe! I hope @realDonaldTrump sees this and demands answers.”

“They groped and searched under his hips and buttocks, his groin and his half arm searching for what?” Conservative pundit James Hoft wrote in the caption with the video, uploaded on Saturday. “Brian is an Afghanistan War veteran. They also swabbed his prosthetic legs and wheelchair for explosives.”

This isn’t a one-off for Kolfage. It happens every time he flies. The video shows the TSA agent first explaining to Kolfage the areas where he will be searched and Kolfage then nodding, apparently to show his understanding. What else can he do but sit there and take it? While others who are far more likely to blow up a plane just pass on through. Disgraceful.

From The Daily Mail:

“The agent asks Kolfage to remove his hat, and swabs the inside of it, along the portion that rests against the front of his forehead.

“From there, he asks Kolfage to extend his arms and proceeds to pat down his left arm, the collar area around the back of his neck, and then his right arm.

“‘Lean forward just a bit,’ the agent says to Kolfage, who complies as the agent pats down his back.

“The agent then moves to Kolfage’s left side, camera right, and pats the area along his left buttocks and thigh, where it meets the seat of his wheelchair. He does the same along Kolfage’s right side, then moves back to his rear, presumably searching the same area where his buttocks meet the seat.

“Coming back to Kolfage’s front, the agent asks him to sit up straight, and proceeds to pat down his waistband area.

“Following that, the agent runs the top of his hands along the tops of Kolfage’s thighs, and then uses his palms to pat down the inner and outer areas of his thighs.

“The agent firmly grips Kolfage’s shoes, which cover his prosthetic feet, before the clip cuts to the agent using a swab along the area of the wheelchair that meets Kolfage’s outer thighs and buttocks.”

“It’s unfortunate that every time I travel I get a full search and swabbed for explosives. It’s the times we live in,” Kolfage stated. “I understand the security concerns but it’s not TSA’s fault, it’s the policymakers in DC who have no clue what the real world is like; it’s a joke. It’s the same people who think there’s no issue at our border.” Bingo.

Brian went on: “It’s amazing how our government is so worried about airport security with a triple amputee veteran in a wheelchair but every day thousands of illegals are coming into our nation unchecked and killing Americans. I guess they turn a blind eye to them like they have to all the angel families.”

Brian even discussed dealing with ‘full cavity searches and removing of prosthetics’ while flying commercially, although that didn’t appear to happen in this case. Thank goodness. No disabled veteran should be treated like this. Kolfage usually avoids the indignity of all this by flying privately through the non-profit organization, Veterans Airlift Command.

Kolfage was horrifically wounded in a 2004 rocket attack at an Iraq air base. He was the most seriously wounded vet out there to survive. He came home and through a sheer will to live adjusted to life as it now is for him and his family.

Brian was in the Tuscon area for a rally held regarding his goal to build a border wall with crowdfunding resources. “There is a lot of work ahead of us, but this has never deterred me in the past. With the help of our highly experienced team and your support, we will make this work!” Kolfage wrote. “I will personally not take a penny of compensation from these donations.”

Approximately 350,000 Americans have donated so far to the new nonprofit called We Build The Wall Inc. “We are better equipped than our own government to use the donated funds to build an actual wall on the southern border,” he wrote. “Our team strongly believes that we can complete our segments of the wall for less than half of the government’s estimated costs on a per mile basis.”

As the Gateway Pundit pointed out, Tucson’s metro core is extremely liberal and for open borders. Hillary Clinton won Tucson in 2016 — Trump won the outlying areas of Tucson. Radical open borders groups such as La Raza are alive and well in the area. It’s no surprise that a wounded war hero vet is subjected to this kind of outrageous treatment while criminals walk freely across the border. Brian is looking to help stop that.
