The Mason Classical Academy, a charter school in Naples, Florida, dumped the Common Core program in favor of traditional teaching methods.

Since they did so, they jumped to the number one position in the Florida’s top schools list.

They were not happy with the way it created unnecessary and complicated methods for relatively simple problems. The method was, and is, hurting down students.

Even one of the original supporters, and creators of the method, Bill Gates, has since rejected the Common Core method.

The one-size fits all standards were thrust upon our schools without debate, in secret. They were designed, much like ObamaCare: To systematically take over the classroom.

Recent results have shown that the Common Core system has been an absolute failure. Test scores dropping everywhere it has been implemented. Many schools claimed they stopped using the standards. Many just re-branded it. They continued to use the methods.
