NBC Reporter Hallie Jackson Goes Full Retard on Korean Prisoner Release:
As Americans were cheering on President Trump and the three Christian Americans released by North Korea coming home, NBC’s Hallie Jackson spun it another way. She basically accused Trump of choreographing and staging the event for publicity.
That’s funny, because the men arrived at 2 am EST. Jackson acted as if no other presidential administration or politician would have greeted the trio with such a warm homecoming. She’s obviously forgotten the grandstanding by Barack Obama over traitor Bowe Bergdahl.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland in the wee hours of the morning with Kim Dong Chul, Kim Hak Song and Tony Kim, and they were greeted by the President, First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. The NBC News White House correspondent harped on the fact that the event was televised.
Jackson spent far too much time describing Trump’s greeting of the three U.S. hostages released by North Korea as a “staged production” presented by a “former reality show producer.” What a lie and an insult to all involved. She was not ashamed of her actions at all either evidently. NewsBusters was all over it. If it involves President Trump, no positive news can be allowed by media outlets such as MSNBC.
Jackson’s outrage over a historic and happy event came off as contrived and bitter rather than exposing faux outrage:
HALLIE JACKSON, NBC NEWS: We have been witness to what has been a remarkable several hours here at Joint Base Andrews. The President is back at the White House. The detainees, the returnees now, are at Walter Reed Medical Center.
But this is something that we’ll be talking about for a while. It was a moment of intense anticipation. You had — it also (was) very carefully choreographed right? The Vice President landed, the President, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and then that plane carrying these three American citizens.
What was sort of striking in the moment — and you’ve talked already about the geopolitical implications of this, what this means for the summit moving forward between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un — But what was striking, was that this was, listen, Donald Trump is a former reality show producer. This was a staged production meant for television, meant for the cameras, meant to be shown and seen here in this country and around the world.
You had floodlights lighting up this 30 X 50-foot American flag, hanging in between two ladder trucks, as the plane carrying these men rolled in. This moment when the President and First Lady holding hands went up the stairs, spending six minutes in private conversation.
And then unexpectedly, because we didn’t think that was going to happen, unexpectedly coming over with these men, and taking a number of questions from reporters who had gathered around in front yelling questions, including about where the summit is. The President wouldn’t say. Including about whether he’s spoken with President Kim Jong-Un. The President wouldn’t say.
Trump is shattering Obama’s legacy which is ticking off the left and the media big time. His scheduled meeting with Kim Jong-Un, the release of these hostages and a possible end to the Korean War and the denuclearization of North Korea are hugely historic events. But that doesn’t stop them from trying to belittle all of it.
This was not the case when former president Barack Obama brought home Bowe Bergdahl who was a Muslim convert and a stone cold traitor. He made a huge production of that and if you were drinking to count the instances of ‘I’ from him, you would be drunk for years. From pillars behind Obama, to planted questions, the left has no room to talk concerning choreographing political events. That includes protests and demonstrations, as well as using dead military personnel as props. Remember Benghazi?
Attempting to minimize such a wondrous event as these three men coming home from a gulag in North Korea is just despicable. As Newsbusters reports, Jackson was at Joint Base Andrews when the detainees arrived and were greeted by Trump when she launched into her scurrilous attack on the President. She’s been at this for years now and knows exactly how she sounded while dissing the President and everyone involved. Shame on Jackson and NBC.
