What Does the Department of Justice and FBI Director Wray Have to Hide?

THE DOJ and FBI Director Wray missed the deadline for handing over 1.2 MILLION documents to the House Judiciary Committee. President Trump says they are STALLING! What exactly are the DOJ and FBI hiding?

Last Thursday was the deadline for the Department of Justice to hand over 1.2 MILLION documents to the House Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Committee had requested several documents related to Clinton’s email investigation, the FBI’s surveillance warrants against Carter Page, as well as other documents related to Andrew McCabes’s behavior and recent firing due to the recommendation of the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility.

Of course, you already know what happened. The DOJ and FBI MISSED the deadline. So you may be asking yourself, ‘Now what?’

TRUMP SAYS THE FBI AND DOJ ‘STALLING’ AND ‘SLOW WALKING’

Well, first President Trump accused the offices of ‘stalling’ and ‘slow walking’ the handover of the documents to Congress, as he tweeted:

Lawmakers of the House Judiciary Committee are angrily accusing the Department of Justice of missing the Thursday Deadline for turning over UNREDACTED Documents relating to FISA abuse, FBI, Comey, Lynch, McCabe, Clinton Emails and much more. Slow walking – what is going on? BAD!

What does the Department of Justice and FBI have to hide? Why aren’t they giving the strongly requested documents (unredacted) to the HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE? Stalling, but for what reason? Not looking good!

TRUMP ECHOES JESSE WATTERS – CLINTON INVESTIGATION RIGGED

Adding to that President Trump even echoed Fox News Jesse Watters’ talking points as well as he tweeted about a segment and interview with Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis adding to the Clinton emails and stalling:

“The FBI closed the case on Hillary, which was a rigged investigation. They exonerated her even before they ever interviewed her, they never even put her under oath…..” and much more. So true Jesse!

You see, like most Americans, even Trump saw through the BS at the FBI.

As Watters said on the sement:

“The initial counter-intelligence investigation [into the Trump campaign] we believe was opened up in July. Right after the FBI closed the case on Hillary, which was a rigged investigation. Remember they exonerated her before they even interviewed her and they never even put her under oath. [Peter] Strzok and Lisa Page and [James] Comey heavily involved in that situation.”

Sadly Virginia Rep. Bob Goodlatte, Chairman of the House Judiciary, subpoened those documents back on March 22.

FBI DIRECTOR WRAY DOUBLES AGENTS – MATH DOESN’T ADD UP

Then, on March 27, FBI Director Christopher Wray issued a statement acknowledging the document production to Congress had been ‘too slow’, so he doubled the number of FBI agents, from 27 to 54 working on the documents.

FBI Director Wray said in a statement,

“Up until today, we have dedicated 27 FBI staff to review the records that are potentially responsive to Chairman Goodlatte’s requests. The actual number of documents responsive to this request is likely in the thousands. Regardless, I agree that the current pace of production is too slow.”

“As the Director of the FBI, I am committed to ensuring that the Bureau is being transparent and responsive to legitimate congressional requests,” he added.

“The 54 FBI staff will work two shifts per day — from 8 a.m. until midnight — “to expedite completion of this project,” President Donald Trump’s appointee, Wray, said.

Seriously? It’s as if FBI Director Wray wants to justify the problem with a simple math solution. If 27 FBI agents produced just about 1,000 documents, how many documents will 54 agents produce? Well, gee at that rate about 2,000 documents out of 1.2 million! That’s obvious NOT the solution, is it FBI Director Wray?

At that rate, does that mean if you had 1,000 documents discovered by 27 agents, and you had 1.2 MILLION documents – it would take about 32,400 agents to produce the ENTIRE 1.2 MILLION documents? Is that the math FBI Director Wray wants us to use to solve his problem? Seriously?

Both agencies, the FBI and the DOJ, have given Hillary Clinton a free pass by declining to charge Clinton for mishandling classified information by using a private email while secretary of state. In addition, the FBI and DOJ misled judges on the FISA Court by using the infamous Steele dossier to spy on Carter Page and the Trump campaign.

TREY GOWDY TO FBI DIRECTOR WRAY – LET’S GET REAL

Let’s be REAL! How did the investigation begin? What are the FBI and DOJ hiding?

I think I have to agree with Rep. Trey Gowdy, if the DOJ and FBI can’t release the documents, Congress should use their power and authority to hold the purse strings over their head. How about until the DOJ and FBI finish their jobs, they don’t get paid!?

In an interview on Fox News, the South Carolina Republican said the department is “going to have to do better than a thousand pages here and there.”

Gowdy told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that he didn’t understand why the department would provide its inspector general with “a million” pages of documents, but give Congress only “a fraction of that.”
“I cannot help them explain a million documents to the inspector general and a fraction of that to the entity who created and funds the FBI,” Gowdy said.
“So if Congress is entitled to this information, we shouldn’t get it in thousand page increments,” he said. “The inspector general has a million pages.”

Expressing annoyance with the department, Gowdy said, “I want to be able to support the FBI and DOJ, but the world’s premiere law enforcement agency can’t seem to operate a copying machine. That’s inexplicable.”

Exactly!!!! It’s INEXCUSABLE!
