College: Teaching Children How Their Whiteness Effects Others

The University of Maryland in Baltimore is promoting a resource for parents who are expected to teach their young white children that they’re primed to be violent racists.

The online resource includes three articles that will help parents understand that modern racism, nationalism, “class-based violence, anti-blackness and anti-immigrant” conversations in the media are all because of “white-identified people and groups.”

Three Articles on Race

The first article listed in the resource is entitled What White Children Need to Know About Race and it goes over the “deep sense of shame” that the author still experiences whenever they discuss race. The author blames the fact that his white family never discussed race when he was growing up. Hey, I never talked about race with my family when I was a kid. Probably because my parents aren’t racist and they didn’t think it was a good idea to introduce the concept that people are treated differently based on race.

The next article is We Need To Deal With Our Discomfort And Talk To Our Kids About Racism and it was first printed in the left-win Washington Post. It talks about the importance of exposing children to “the discomfort of living with racism” and even gives tips on how to introduce racism to toddlers. Don’t worry, though, the author expects your child to understand racism and world events by the age of 8.

The last piece is Curriculum for White Americans To Educate Themselves on Race and Racism – From Ferguson to Charleston. I think that the author of the last piece is missing several centuries of American history, unless they’re talking about pre-civil war Charleston. Leave it to the lefties to ignore the civil war. For a bunch of academics, I only ever seem to find that conservatives know what happened in the world before this week.

Here’s a snippet from the last one by Jon Greenberg:

“White privilege can lead to a chronic case of undiagnosed entitlement, creating poor listeners, impatient speakers who talk over others and people unaccustomed to taking orders.”

To my white devil ears, that sounds a lot like a fancy way of saying “shut up.”

College Prof: White People Destroy Peace

According to Portland’s Community College Prof. James Harrison:

“…it would be a world for the United States without whiteness, in terms of the power structure.”

The short lecture was filmed by a student and uploaded to YouTube.

Class: ‘The Problem of Whiteness’

This is not a new phenomenon, but if you’re too old to be talking to college students then this trend may have passed you by. In late 2016 we reported that the University of Wisconsin-Madison was gearing up to offer a course titled ‘The Problem of Whiteness.’ The course description said that students will be taught:

“…how whiteness is socially constructed and experienced in order to help dismantle white supremacy.”

The professor teaching the course, a man named Damon Sajnani said that white people “rarely or never [question] what it is to be white” and that we white people “go through life taking it for granted without ever questioning it or critically interrogating it.”

Jordan Peterson Blames ‘Postmodernism’

Canadian academic and psychology professor Jordan B. Peterson is a conservative-leaning man who was thrown into the spotlight for speaking up against a new law that would force him to use the proper transgender pronouns for his students. He already used pronouns for his transgender students when requested, but resisted the notion that the government had any right to tell him what he could or couldn’t say.

He has been attacked in the press for having friendly relations with conservatives including Tucker Carlson. In general, he is using his platform to explain why colleges have turned into garbage. During the 1960s and 1970s, an academic discipline called ‘postmodernism’ was invented from thin air. Postmodernists believe that everything that since white men have created most of the world’s history, that everything ever written or invented is biased on the side of whites and men, and that it must all be pointed out.

Colleges Now Focus on ‘Whiteness’ and ‘Maleness’

In short, college students no longer study the inventions of Thomas Edison. Instead, they focus on pointing out that Edison demonstrated his “whiteness” and “maleness” through his inventions.

Recently this poison trend has moved on from liberal arts (complaining that Shakespeare was a white man) to the hard sciences (complaining that calculus was invented by the white male Isaac Newton).

In January of this year, a professor at the University of Illinois told students that “mathematics itself operates as whiteness:”

“[The people who get] credit for …developing mathematics, [the people who are capable of doing mathematics and the people who are] seen as a part of the mathematical community is generally views as white privilege.”

More and more it’s looking like having a college degree is a dark mark on a resume and that anyone with a smart kid in high school needs to convince them to go into a trade, the Armed Forces, an apprenticeship as long as it’s in the working world instead of spending four years learning that white people ruined everything.
