College Hires Sexually Confused Traitor To Speak On Ethics
California’s UCLA outdoes itself by inviting a traitor, freed by Obama from a 35 year prison term, to speak about ethics. Read on for a recap of who paid for the gender switcharoo, and the Democrat donors making the lecture possible.
Once known as Bradley Manning and now officially Chelsea Manning, the person responsible for leaking state secrets to the web is now an honored guest at UCLA.
“A Conservation with Chelsea Manning”
As a part of the Meyer and Renee Luskin Lecture Series, Manning will give a talk next week on the topics of “ethics in public service” with a dash of “activism and protest.” In materials, Manning is described as:
“an advocate for government transparency and queer and transgender rights.”
Last week, Manning gave a speech to around 800 students at Bard College where they spoke on “personal rights:”
“Whether it’s me as a trans person or me as a political dissident in my concerns about surveillance and the security state, it’s this notion of the state determining who does and does not have rights.”
You can tell that the talk at UCLA is going to cause some troubles. Tickets are $35 for general admission and $15 for faculty. Students are invited to attend for free.
Manning’s Wikileaks Crime
In January of 2010, Private Bradley Manning downloaded 400,000 documents, known as the Iraq War logs and 91,000 documents known as the Afghan War logss from military databases. The materials were passed on to Wikileaks and would later include hundreds of thousands of diplomatic cables.
Manning was arrested on May 27, 2010 and was convicted of six charges relating to espionage and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Right now, Manning is running for a seat in the Senate in Maryland despite obvious push back from people who don’t think someone who has been convicted of espionage against the United States should be in one of her public offices.
Last Chance Pardon By Obama
In the last days of the Obama presidency before the golden one swept into power last January, Obama handed down 209 total commutations and 64 full pardons.
Manning was one of the last people lifted from purgatory by Obama, who had granted a total of 1,385 commutations and 212 pardons during his two terms.
Republicans House Speaker Paul Ryan called the move “outrageous” because “Chelsea Manning’s treachery put American lives at risk and exposed some of our nation’s most sensitive secrets.”
But Julian Assange of Wikileaks said:
“Ms. Manning should never have been convicted in the first place.”
Recently, Manning has been spotted palling around with alleged conservatives as a special guest at a “Night of Freedom” event by people who rode the wave of support for Donald Trump in order to make money for themselves. Attendees including former Bernie Sanders supporter-turned Gateway Pundit author Cassandra Fairbanks, Gavin McInnes and Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec.
Timeline from Bradley to Chelsea
To avoid confusion, I’ll be referring to this person as Manning.
In 2010, Manning described the feeling of blending in as a woman while on leave from military duties as “exhilarating.”
In 2013, Manning’s attorney handed out a press release saying that their client is female.
In April of 2014, Manning was granted a petition from the Kansas District Court to have their name changed from Bradley to Chelsea.
In August of 2014, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) complained that Manning was not receiving treatment for their “gender identity condition” despite previous approval of transgender switcharoos on the public dime by Secretary of Defense Hagel.
February of 2015 saw the addition of hormone treatment to “Inmate Manning’s treatment plan.”
Then in 2016, the ACLU trumpeted that the army caved in to demands from Manning for the Army to pay for gender bending surgery.
Manning was released from prison in 2017, and health care coverage from the military ceased on May 16, 2017.
(author’s note — “exhilarating” is one of the last words I’d use to describe being a woman in public. Driving really fast on a closed course is “exhilarating,” going to pick up bread and milk is not.)
Meyer and Renee Luskin Lecture Series
Husband and wife team Meyer and Renee donated $100 million to the UCLA campus in 2011. The money was dividied equally between the UCLA School of Public Affairs, which deals with “public policy, urban planning and social welfare” and for the lecture series that bears their name.
The lecture series, which will be hosting Manning in the coming weeks, intends to “expand dialogue between scholars, government and business leaders, and the public at large.”
The Luskins had made significant donations to the school in previous years. Meyer, now 85, had earned a degree in economics back in 1949 and went on to manufacturing animal feed. In 2011, he said that a $30 scholarship to UCLA after his education was interrupted by service in the Air Force during World War II allowed him to continue his education. Renee was also a student, who earned a degree in sociology in 1953 from the school.
Luskins Also Support Hillary, Barack
In the past few years, Meyer Luskin has donated money to Democrats Silvestre Reyes, Dianne Feinstein, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. As well, he has donated to PACs associated with the Democrats.
