New Baby Trump Is Already Making A Name For Himself!
There’s a new addition to the Trump family, and he’s already making a name for himself with eyecatching hair.
Eric “Luke” Trump was born on Sept. 12 to Eric and Lara Trump.
His claim to fame so far? His tufted, blond hair that’s oddly reminiscent of his grandfather’s famous, unruly locks.
From Conservative Tribune:
Fox News interviewed Eric and Lara Trump shortly after the birth of their baby and of course, little Luke’s hair was the center of attention.
“He’s a great baby, he really does not cry that much, he’s so sweet… and he has a lot of hair,” Lara Trump said.
“Apparently he has more hair than most babies,” she continued.
“The Trump hair,” her husband agreed.
Check out some of these photos of Luke from Lara Trump’s Instagram:
This picture shows a pensive Luke with his signature blond hair upright in the wind:
OK! Does anyone else besides me think this little guy looks like his Grandpa?
Of course, President Donald Trump’s hair has made a name for itself.
For good or ill, the famous comb-over is recognized all around the world.
So much so that people have dressed their cats in the Trump-like hair and late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon asked to touch then-candidate Trump’s hair during a live interview in September 2016.
Yep! Little Luke definitely has his grandfather’s hair. Don’t you think so?
This little guy is going to continue the tradition of the well-known hairdo.
Eric and Laura welcomed their son on September 12th. Eric announced his son’s arrival on Twitter:
“[Lara] and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric ‘Luke’ Trump’ at 8:50 this morning,” he tweeted, sharing the first photo of their newborn.
The baby, a 7-pound, 6-ounce boy named Eric Luke Trump, was born to Eric Trump and his wife, Lara, in New York City, the younger Mr. Trump, 33.
The baby boy joins the couple’s dogs Charlie and Ben, plus eight cousins — Eric’s brother Don Jr. has five kids with his wife Vanessa, while sister Ivanka has three with husband Jared Kushner.
Wow! That’s NINE grandchildren for President Trump. That’s almost 2 basketball teams! You can bet family gatherings are busy for the Trump family.
It looks like little Luke will have plenty of cousins to play with.
Little Luke’s parents dated for six years before marrying at Mar-A-Lago in 2014 — confirmed their baby on the way to PEOPLE in March, with Eric sharing, “We found out on my birthday, which was pretty cool.”
At the time Eric posted on social media:
“@LaraLeaTrump & I are excited to announce that we are adding a boy to #TeamTrump in September. It’s been an amazing year. We are blessed!” the businessman, 33, wrote alongside an adorable snap, who kisses his wife as she smiles ear-to-ear.
Former Inside Edition producer and animal philanthropist Lara told PEOPLE at the time that she was “exhausted” in the early stages of her pregnancy.
“Until the fatigue hit, I didn’t believe it would actually happen to me,” she said at the time. “It really affected me. But I’m feeling really good now.”
“I knew I always wanted kids someday,” Lara added in March, saying her husband would be “an amazing dad” if his time spent with Don Jr. and Ivanka’s kids was any indication.
“The nieces and nephews love hanging with him,” she explained. “He’s the cool uncle. He’s watched Frozen many times.”
As for their son’s name, Eric said, “We really loved the name Charlie, but we’d already named our dog that, so it’s out.”
In June, Lara celebrated her baby shower with friends and family, and shared several fun snaps from the event.
“I’m so blessed! ??? #BestBabyShowerEver (?: @realoscarlopez ❤️)” she captioned the sweet pic of her sister-in-law Ivanka Trump cradling her growing baby bump.
In that same month, Laura acknowledged her father-in-law and husband in a thoughtful Father’s Day message that she shared on Instagram.
“Also wishing a #HappyFathersDay to my father-in-law and Happy future Father’s Day to my husband!! ?” she said at the time.
Eric is the founder of the Eric Trump Foundation, which raises money for terminally ill children and cancer patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the owner of the award-winning Trump Winery.
Eric Trump also oversees the daily operations of the Trump Organization with his brother, Donald Jr.
Between, the Trump Organization and the Eric Trump Foundation, and now little Luke, you can bet Eric Trump is one busy father.
But hair or no hair, this little guy is certain to have a few other characteristics of his grandfather’s too. Who knows how much he will remember from his early life about his Grandpa Trump living in the White House as POTUS, but you can bet there will be plenty of pictures and videos on ‘the cloud’ for him to look at when he’s older.
