Did MSNBC ‘Morning Joe’ Scarborough Commit Blatant Sedition On Air?

0

Last week, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Scarborough called for a cabinet-led coup to remove Trump from office because he and his hosts believe that Trump has mental health issues.

“He is completely detached from reality, we had a New York Times and Washington Post piece saying so a couple of days ago, and the question is Mika,” Scarborough said, “if this is not what the 25th Amendment was drafted for, I would like the cabinet members serving America, not serving the president” to act accordingly.”

I have had my issues with Donald Trump, but I would say that Joe Scarborough has issues.

Did MSNBC Morning Joe Scarborough Commit Blatant Sedition On Air?

Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition takes place when one or more individuals engage in or promote the overthrowing of a government. A person who takes part in subversive acts is considered a “seditionist.” The United States and most other countries have laws against sedition. In fact, sedition is felt to be so damaging, especially to a newly formed nation, that the act was addressed specifically by President John Adams in 1798.

That sounds to me EXACTLY what Scarborough is doing. Where does he think he is? Some third world country where there is no peaceful exchange of power, but instead done by a coup?

That is not the way America works Joe. We have peaceful transition via elections. Not only are you calling for a coup, you are calling for an action that would cause chaos in this country. I couldn’t stand Obama, but I would have never called for a cabinet level coup against him.

This coming from a man who has two failed marriages, and was most likely having an affair with his co-host before his 2nd marriage was over. Just my opinion.

Scarborough also predicted Trump’s mental health would deteriorate.

“My mom has dementia,” Scarborough said. “She had pre-dementia for several years. My father’s death, the pressure of that, is when we really lost her. And so it got exponentially worse very first. The more pressure you’re under in this — if this is, in fact, the problem, the worse it gets.”

Scarborough said that Trump confidantes agree with him that Trump has “mentally devolved.”

“There is no doubt mentally, and maybe it’s the pressure of the campaign and this, everybody that’s known Trump for years says he has mentally devolved, and I just want to know when it’s safe to start talking about it and writing about it,” he said.

“If you’ve been around mental health issues in your life … the pressure heightens, it gets worse,” co-host Donny Deutsch said. “And we should be frightened right now. We should be — there is nothing glib about it.”

“So take a guy who is mentally unstable,” Deutsch continued. “Now put a gun closer — metaphorically, closer and closer to his head, and I think that’s what you’re seeing this week. I think there’s a new level, and I think we’re going to see it heightened as these two stories are coming together. His mental health and the Russian inquiry are coming together and it’s going to crescendo in even more insane behavior.”

“I mean, it’s just extraordinary. How much worse can it get?” Scarborough asked. “I fear it can get worse, and the people who are professionals in mental health frankly tell me this doesn’t get better. This probably won’t get better. It’s not going to resolve itself somehow. And as you said, he tends to want to escape the people who could keep him on the straight and narrow, so maybe we need to shut down Mar-a-Lago.”

During a conversation about Trump’s retweets that caught the ire of British lawmakers, Deutsch went further, declaring that this behavior shows he’s a “sociopath.”

“And you know who does things without any thinking about repercussions?” he asked. “A sociopath.”

On Thursday, Scarborough said the 25th Amendment was created for situations like this.

“He is completely detached from reality, we had a New York Times and Washington Post piece saying so a couple of days ago, and the question is Mika,” Scarborough said, “if this is not what the 25th Amendment was drafted for, I would like the cabinet members serving America, not serving the president” to act accordingly.

No, Joe. The 25th Amendment was designed for the cabinet members, when THEY recognize a serious issue. It was not designed as a free for all for some flunky on a camera to call for a coup against the government of the United States.

What you did dude was in my book treasonous. I think a visit from the Secret Service is warranted.

I used to like Joe Scarborough, talk about someone who has changed over the years. Joe has changed dramatically.

Joe, Scarborough, you are a Moron!
