Huge Pedophile Ring Discovered At Disney World: 35 Arrests!
So first there was Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, then there was Matt Lauer, and a few other douchebags who were all accused of sexual abuse. Now, in the latest scandal, veteran Disney executive, Jon Heely has been charged with 3 counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child. How sick is that?!
Variety reports that veteran 58-year-old Disney executive has been charged with three felony counts of child sexual abuse. Jon Heely, the longtime director of music publishing at Disney, was arrested nearly a month ago and charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child. One of the reported victims was 15. The other was abused for four years starting at the age of 11, according to the charges.
Heeley of Santa Clarita is accused of abusing the two underage girls approximately ten years ago.
His attorney Robert Helfend said Heely “vehemently denies these allegations.”
Heely, who oversees the licensing of music from Disney films, pleaded not guilty on Thursday. If convicted, he faces up to nine years and three months in prison.
Oddly, the House of Mouse waited until yesterday to suspend the alleged pedophile. A spokesperson claimed the company had only just learned of Heely’s arrest:
“Immediately upon learning of this situation tonight, he has been suspended without pay until the matter is resolved by the courts.”
Heely’s attorney, Robert Helfend, denied the charges: “He vehemently denies these allegations and we will be fighting until the end to clear his name,” Helfend said. “It’s a shame, that’s all I’ve got to say.”
Heely has been with Disney since 1981. He oversees licensing of the company’s massive catalogue of film music. He also produced a series of Disney concerts around the world, including “Fantasia Live in Concert,” that feature orchestral performances and film clips.
He was arrested on November 16 and released on $150,000 bail.
Heeley’s Twitter bio states: ‘Disney Concerts and living to glorify God in all things.’
The news of the senior executive’s arrest comes days after police announced they have uncovered a huge pedophile ring at Disney World, Florida. Over 35 employees were arrested for alleged child rape offenses.
Disney has downplayed the arrests, insisting that the theme park is so large that those arrested account for a just a tiny percentage of its overall workforce, however the arrest of the senior executive has led many to believe the pedophilia problem is systemic within the company.
But Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said pedophiles have obvious reasons for wanting to work at the resort and wants compulsory ‘lie detector’ polygraph tests for staff to be made legal.
The toll of Disney workers arrested was revealed after a six-month investigation by CNN’s Kyra Phillips and Scott Zamost.
They tracked down many of the suspects still facing trial including 50-year-old Robert Kingsolver, who was employed as a ride repair worker by Disney when he was arrested in February.
Kingsolver – who has pleaded not guilty – told CNN he was trying to protect the girl from further harm, was not a predator and loved working at the resort.
‘To see the look on the childrens’ faces when they get to see Prince Charming or run in to Mickey, that was the best part, to see kids glow, seeing their heroes,’ he said.
‘They know how much I love them, all four of my kids, and they know their dad is not somebody who would go out and hurt a young child.’
Many more of those tracked down, however, were reluctant to appear on camera.
One of those arrested in Polk County Police’s latest crackdown was 26-year-old Zachary Spencer, a ticket supervisor at the Magic Kingdom.
‘Spencer initiated contact with an undercover detective via a social networking site’, police said in a statement last week.
‘The undercover detective told Spencer he was a 13-year-old boy. Spencer initiate sexually explicit messages to a person he thought was a 13-year-old boy, including mutual oral sex.
‘The suspect travelled to the undercover location and was arrested.’
He faces five separate charges, as does 40-year-old Allen Treaster, who worked as a concierge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Police arrested Treaster two weeks ago on suspicion of sending explicit messages to an officer he thought was a 14-year-old boy.
‘He admitted to deputies that he travelled to meet a 14-year-old boy to see where things would lead to and was hoping for sex,’ police said.
‘He admitted to chatting about performing oral sex on the “boy.” Treaster said that it has always been a fantasy of his to have sex with a 14 year old boy.’
Police are also investigating an alleged confession by Treaster that he previously had sex with a 15-year-old boy in a Georgia motel.
In all, the 35 Disney suspects since 2006 named by CNN are charged with various offenses ranging mostly from child pornography and soliciting sex to sexual activity.
‘Why do people work at Disney?’ he told CNN.
‘Well, they work at Disney because they want a good, stable job for a great company, but there is always a few that are there because they can see children. They can live in a child’s world.’
How sick is this! For these mentally disturbed douchebags to prey on these innocent young children visiting a place where they probably had dreamed about, just makes my stomach turn!
I don’t think this is what Walt Disney meant when he created the phrase ‘where Dreams come true’.
