Liberal Professor Tweets Hate to Sarah Sanders, Backlash is Fierce!

0

We have a serious problem in higher education. Liberal professors dominate the classes of impressionable, young college students. It’s no wonder so many millennials these days are starry eyed about socialism and communism. They are constantly being brainwashed by leftist ideology and conservative voices are shunned into silence.

I expect those who teach to create critical thinkers, but that is not the outcome they are going for. Make no mistake, all that college tuition is going towards is creating future Democrats with a bit of actual learning only sprinkled in.

The examples of liberal professors imparting their views on their student are endless. But in this case, the professor is imparting pure hate, and it is unacceptable.

You may have seen pictures recently making the rounds of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House Press Secretary, wearing a camouflage jacket while in Korea. The jacket was generously given to her by a US Army Chinook pilot, Chief Warrant Officer Bobby Zizelman on a freezing cold day. What a gentleman! Chivalry is not lost! What a heartwarming story. How can liberals possibly taint such a wholesome event? Like this:

H/T Washington Times

“A University of Memphis professor is facing backlash for an insensitive tweet to former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee about his daughter, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

“If she froze to death, she wouldn’t be missed,” clinical assistant professor Judy Cole wrote in response to Mr. Huckabee’s tweet Saturday praising a U.S. Army pilot who gave Ms. Sanders his jacket during a South Korea visit with President Trump.

Mr. Huckabee called out the woman as a professor at the University of Memphis and said he felt sorry for her students.

“Woman teaches nursing at @uofmemphis and wishes my daughter would die,” he responded. “I feel sorry for someone so hateful and vicious. Poor woman makes Nurse Ratched look like Mother Teresa! How angry and bitter is a person who says that? Sad for your students and for you.”

Many social media users called for Ms. Cole to be fired for the tweet, which has since been deleted, but several students who spoke to The Commercial Appeal said she was a great teacher who deserved a second chance.

Ms. Cole told local ABC affiliate WATN that the backlash had gotten out of hand and she was concerned for her job.

“I really don’t want to talk about this,” she said. “This has gotten blown out of proportion. I talked with my attorney a little while ago.”

The university said it was investigating the matter.

“The University of Memphis has been made aware of personal comments made on social media by a current faculty member of the Loewenberg College of Nursing,” the school said in a statement. “These statements do not represent the values of the University of Memphis or the values of the Loewenberg College of Nursing. This matter is being fully investigated in accordance with U of M policies.”

Mr. Huckabee said he was “stunned” by Ms. Cole’s comments.

“I was stunned that a University nursing professor would wish a young mother of 3 to die, especially when that young mother was my daughter,” he told WATN. “I know people have strong political views, but that level of hate and vile is shocking, but especially from someone who is educated and supposed to teach healing. I didn’t shame anyone — the person sending the tweet shamed herself, her profession, and her employer with such a vicious and bitter comment.”

Come on! We all have political views and some are strong and even emotional, but to be an educator to nurses, who are taught to care for people, and put out this hateful comment crosses the line. She should be absolutely ashamed of herself. I thought the Left had big hearts? How come I never see that side of them? Instead I see hate and anger constantly pouring out from their mouths. It’s sick.

This is the kind of stuff we have to deal with when schools are filled with professors whose mission is not to educate but indoctrinate. I won’t hold my breath for an apology, but people need to be aware of what these kids are being exposed to. Apparently this teacher is generally well liked by her students, but that makes her all the more dangerous.
