BREAKING: NFL Gets DEVASTATING BLOW as Boycott over Protests Grows
As NFL players continue to dig in, the fans continue to boycott harder and things are now looking very dire for the football franchise!
Each week, the ratings take another significant dive in the ratings and the NFL is in huge financial disaster.
From September to October, total viewership was down by 10% already.
According to brand-new reports, the rating on Monday Night Football are down 9% from last week’s game. Ouch. And you can’t even blame the Trick or Treaters at the door for that one!
In the west, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos with a score of only 7.2, just over ten million viewers. The week before that, the metered score was 7.9 with around 11.3 million viewers.
The whole debacle has become chaos.
The stadiums are half full. Advertisers are bailing. Sports restaurants are turning off football. Fans are disgusted en masse. It’s gotten bad folks.
NBC Sports is off 21 percent from 2015, CBS Sports is down 14 percent compared to 2015, and ESPN’s Monday Night Football has sunk 17 percent over 2015.
Up until now, because teams have been lowering ticket prices, (49er’s tix went as low as the price of two pretzels), stadium attendance was not being visually affected. The unseen bottom dollar was because of declining prices.
But now teams are having a real hard time filling seats!
With the number of people who are canceling their cable subscriptions and you can get a pretty full figure. ESPN has lost almost half a million subscribers October alone; with over 15,000 people every day refusing to pay the fees for their politicized coverage.
In the last week of October, TV executives were even looking to cut up to ten games from their Thursday night scheduling.
The NFL boycott has applied incredible pressure and network executives are even considering slashing over half of the games on Thursday Night Football!
Professional football is no longer America’s favorite sport as the NFL loses popularity due to players’ continuing to protest during the National Anthem. After months of ongoing controversy, the devastating impact on the NFL is evident with emerging pictures on social media of stadiums with vacant seats throughout the league.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wrote a letter to all 32 league owners stating that the protests that have taken place during the national anthem need to stop!
In the letter Goodell wrote that the “current dispute over the National Anthem is threatening to erode the unifying power of our game, and is now dividing us, and our players, from many fans across the country.”
“Like many of our fans, we believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem,” Goodell wrote. “It is an important moment in our game,” Goodell wrote.
Some get the problem and have tried to remedy, but as they do, other moronic players dig in harder.
We reported that the Miami Dolphins owner and coach have both put their foot down and told their NFL players to stand for the national anthem.
Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys has threatened to sideline any player who participates in the antics.
After a weekend where the NFL, and especially the Steelers, took a huge backlash for disrespecting the flag and the national anthem, the Pittsburgh team announced that the entire team will begin standing for the National Anthem!
What these football players do not realize, is down the line is coming time to negotiate money. The less money the NFL has, the less money they make. If this continues, they will be facing a serious cut in pay. That is good. They obviously make more money than their brains can handle anyway.
The NFL best get control, but I don’t see that in the future.
It is real simple. Protest on your own time. These lazy 3-minute antics have not been a real protest anyway. These morons don’t have the intestinal fortitude to go out and really protest. They are too busy living their high lifestyle on the millions of dollars they have received while living the American Dream.
There is a major Veterans’ weekend NFL Football Boycott Planned. Click here for details.
We will be not be watching or listening to NFL games on November 12th in solidarity with veterans around the country, as football players have continued to disrespect the national anthem, the American flag, and everything our nation stands for.
