In a moving moment of reverence for America, a video has emerged of a group of coal miners listening to a fellow miner sing the national anthem before they begin their shift at a West Virginia coal mine.

In the Oct. 10 video, Josh Stowers performs “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Mammoth Coal Company in Kanawha County, West Virginia.

Protesting NFL players could learn a thing or two from these patriotic coal miners who clearly love their country. Wow. This is a must watch.

“There is no kneeling in this bath house … we have a daily safety meeting before every shift before these guys go underground, and we appreciate Josh volunteering to sing after the meeting, thanks Josh Stowers #singingcoalminer,” Wriston wrote on his Facebook page as he posted the video.

As Stowers sings, his colleagues are seen in the video with heads bowed, eyes closed and hands over their hearts.

Visitors to Wriston’s Facebook page shared their praise for both the song and the patriotism displayed by the miners. As of Wednesday, the video had nearly 400,000 views on Facebook alone.

“These men don’t make millions, are ready at a moments notice never knowing what they will be called to do. Don’t discriminate against who they will help or save. This is a role model, and the Anthem was sung beautifully,” one commenter wrote.

“What a ‘feel good” post this is,” another said. “So proud of these men who continue in their jobs but only after prayer and the National Anthem is sung and at attention by all. The singer did a fantastic rendition of the Anthem. Thank you for posting such a great video, one like we all need to see, in times like these!!

“Totally awesome!!!!” read another comment. “We don’t have any singers at work, but I love the fact that at the mine I work at, every shift before we go underground we dismiss with prayer. I love the fact that we have that opportunity to do that.”

“Real Americans, who appreciate their job and those who have fought for the right to work in a FREE Country. Many of their forefathers came here from places where they were SLAVE Labor and oppressed every day. They came here legally, learned English, worked hard in a dangerous environment, raised families and died believing in the American Dream. Many escaped the Left wing liberals that existed in their homeland, came here with nothing. GOD Bless our MINERS,” Said still another.

The NFL could learn a thing or two from this. Patriotism is important, no matter what hurdles you have in life.

Note that these men and women make a VERY SIGNIFICANTLY lower wage than any NFL player. This for much HARDER and MORE DANGEROUS work. Sometimes work they haved died for.

You do not see these coal miners complaining about how hard it is to live in American under their current situation.

The NFL football morons, live the life of Riley. Then complain, when they go home to their multi-million dollar mansions.

Insanity!
