Here is a copy of the hilarious official Hillary Clinton Monument Fundraising letter:
I have the distinguished honor of being a member of the Committee to raise $50,000,000.00 for a monument to Hillary R. Clinton.
We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for her two faces. We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, nor beside Barack Obama, who never told the truth, because frankly, Hillary never could tell the difference.
We finally decided to place it beside Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going, and when he got there he did not know where he was. He returned not knowing where he had been, and did it all on someone else’s money … magnificent to say the least!
I will be contacting you shortly to discuss your donation.
The Hillary R. Clinton Monument Committee
PS: The Committee has raised $32.16 so far. Actually, someone did donate $1,000,000, but did it thru the Clinton Foundation. The Foundation sent the $32.16 on to us with the Clinton family keeping the balance for ‘administrative expenses’.
When the Committee contacted Hillary about the rest of the money, after 4 phone calls and 3 deleted emails, she finally responded by asking us…
“What difference does it really make?”
Really folks, even Bill and Hillary should laugh at this one. But… probably not. She knows there will probably never be a memorial, and is still reeling from knowing there will never be a Hillary Clinton Presidential Library!
If you liked this, share it! Give someone a healthy dose of Hillary Humor for the day!
Life is complex enough in itself. Our duty is to make it as fun and pleasant as it can possibly be even in adversity. I believe, one must have sense of humor in order to carry through and lighten the burden of our every day mental stress. Otherwise, life’s trying times could drown us in self-pity and bitterness. Life is too short. To cry over spilled milk not only stalls you, but takes away the joy of our experiences in life.
We are subjected to trivial and significant challenges every day. The way we choose to respond to them is what will make the difference. To a certain extent one has the power to make the best out of the worst situation, just tackle it with a sense of humor. It’s sort of a reminder of the old adage that says, “If life throws you lemons, make yourself a lemonade.”
Along my life’s journey I realized that regardless of any given situation’s status, the psychological burden that comes with it is easier to deal with, if it is taken with a sense of humor. Living life is serious business. But if we see things from a brighter perspective, even when there isn’t one, it’ll help you feel less stressed during your sad moments.
