If there is one thing that we are certain about…it is that Washington, D.C. is a cesspool for criminals. If there is one other thing we can be certain of, it’s that President Trump needs to #DrainTheSwamp. The Swamp includes many leftovers from the Obama administration including Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe.
McCabe is now ‘acting’ Director of the FBI since President Trump fired Director James Comey for all of his leaks and shenanigans. It’s almost by design that the Democrats are dragging their feet when it comes to approving Trump’s administration. There is no question, they are taking their ‘sweet little time’ on every nomination of Trump’s.
Now that Comey is out, the dirt and muck will continue to rise as the President continues to drain the swamp, and that includes McCabe. Judicial Watch has filed not one, or two, but THREE Freedom of Information lawsuits against McCabe according to Law Newz.
All three lawsuits stemmed from unanswered FOIA requests originally filed by Judicial Watch in October 2016 seeking specific records on McCabe. The records involved his potential relationship and conflict of interest with the Democrat party and Democrat Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, in terms of their connection to McCabe’s wife’s failed run for state Senate in Virginia.
Can you say DemocRAT?
H/T Conservative Tribune:
“There are numerous questions about the ethics and judgement of the FBI’s top leadership, particularly Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton stated in a media release. “These new lawsuits will help Americans ‘watch the watchers’ at the powerful FBI.”

The first of the three lawsuits was filed on July 24 and sought any sort of official communications within the Justice Department related to any “ethical issues” regarding the political campaign of McCabe’s wife, Dr. Jill McCabe. She received substantial financial backing from associates of McAuliffe and the state Democrat apparatus, which is heavily influenced by the governor.
Specifically, the lawsuit demanded: “Any and all records of communication between FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and other FBI or Department of Justice (‘DOJ’) officials regarding, concerning or relating to ethical issues concerning the involvement of Andrew McCabe and/or his wife, Dr. Jill McCabe, in political campaigns.”
It is also looking for “Any and all records related to ethical guidance concerning political activities provided to Deputy Director McCabe by FBI and/or DOJ officials or elements.”
The second lawsuit, filed July 26, is seeking “Any and all records of communication between Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe” and: “Any official within the office of the Governor of Virginia, including but not limited to Governor Terry McAuliffe; Any official, representative or employee with the Democratic National Committee; Any official, representative or employee with the Democratic Party of Virginia.”
The third lawsuit, also filed July 26, seeks pertinent standard forms related to travel expenses and reimbursements submitted by McCabe, as well as his official calendar, perhaps to ensure that there was no crossover between McCabe’s official duties and travel and that related to his wife’s political campaign.
It is suspected by some that McCabe could be in violation of the Hatch Act, which prohibits employees of the FBI from taking part “in political activity in concert with a political party, a candidate for partisan political office, or a partisan political group.”
It is worth noting that Jill McCabe’s failed state Senate run was financed to the tune of $500,000 by McAuliffe’s political action committee and an additional $207,788 by the Virginia Democratic Party in 2015.
These donations have drawn concern and criticism due to the simple fact that McAuliffe is a well-known close friend and supporter of former President Bill Clinton and his wife, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and has been implicated in their schemes in the past.
Then-Deputy Director McCabe was ostensibly in charge of the FBI’s investigation into alleged mishandling of classified materials on a private server by Clinton, an investigation many now view as a sham and cover up of illegal activity that would have sent virtually anybody else to prison for many years.
As President Trump posted on Twitter:
Why didn’t A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got….
…big dollars ($700,000) for his wife’s political run from Hillary Clinton and her representatives. Drain the Swamp!
You GOT that right! #DrainTheSwamp
We can be thankful for Judicial Watch and their lawsuits related to potential “ethics issues” of acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe.
My guess is that the acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe will be packing soon. President Trump has recently put Gen. John Kelly in charge as his new chief of staff. That move will bring more strict order and discipline to the White House. There is no doubt that Gen. Kelly will set a clear plan and team in place to deal with issues like the scum in the swamp. If anyone has crossed lines of ethics…as McCabe may have, they will be gone.
Trump means business, especially when it comes to ‘Making America Great Again’.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the Justice Department Inspector General is also investigating allegations from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley that McCabe may not have properly disclosed campaign payments to his wife on his ethics report.
Sounds like Andrew McCabe may have created a little ‘muck’ of his own.
Maybe he shouldn’t have tried so hard to take out Flynn.
