FBI agents have seized SMASHED computer hard drives from the home of former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s IT administrator, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation.

Pakistani-born Imran Awan, long-time right-hand IT aide to the Wasserman, has since desperately tried to get the hard drives back.

Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.

Awan’s younger brothers, Abid and Jamal, his wife, Hina Alvi, and Rao Abbas, Imran’s best friend, are all linked to the criminal investigation being conducted by the U.S. Capitol Police.

The fired technology staffers were linked to an ongoing criminal investigation after being barred from House computer networks.

Awan was still working as a technology adviser for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz long after he had been blocked from accessing the House computer system in early February.

Imran Awan, a longtime IT aide of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., is under investigation for allegedly stealing equipment and improperly accessing the House IT network, while working in Congress. Shortly after the case went public, Awan moved out of his home in Lorton, Virginia, renting it eventually to a couple, one a Marine Corps veteran and one a Navy Officer.

The renters told The Daily Caller they found “wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner.” They called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which coordinated with the FBI and Capitol Police to seize the equipment.

“It was in the garage. They recycled cabinets and lined them along the walls. They left in a huge hurry,” the unnamed Marine, who spoke under the condition of anonymity out of concern for his wife’s career, told The Daily Caller. “It looks like government-issued equipment. We turned that stuff over.”

Awan threatened to sue the renters for stealing the hard drives, and appeared desperate to get them back.

“It was unbelievable; I don’t know where they get off thinking they’re going to sue us for items we have no obligation to hold on to,” he said, adding that although Awan came to the house “three to four times,” the Marine would not allow him to enter.

“Their lawyer contacted us today via email, and said we owed $350 in late charges, and the items he left in the house,” he said.

“When we first moved in, a mailman came with certified mail from the House of Representatives. We were trying to be nice and signed for it. They lost their shit, saying ‘why did you sign for it, this is illegal!’ It was certified from the [Chief Administrative Officer of the House],” the Marine continued.

“The postman came a second time with a certified letter, and I called Imran on the spot, asking ‘what do you want me to do.’ He said ‘just send him away, I’m homeless.’ They refused to forward their mail.

I want to know what Debbie Wasserman Schultz knew and when she knew it! I want to know what was on those hard drives that warranted ‘smashing’

I REALLY want to know what is on Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s laptop that made it worth her threatening the Washington DC Top Cop for!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former DNC chair who rigged the 2016 primaries for Hillary Clinton, has threatened the DC Police Chief because he will not give her back a laptop that is EVIDENCE in the Democrat House security breach investigation!

Wasserman said there will be “Consequences” if he doesn’t hand over the evidence. She goes back and forth with him and does not seem to understand the simple concept that her laptop is EVIDENCE in a CRIMINAL investigation so she cannot get it back yet!

“If a member loses equipment and it is found by your staff and identified as that member’s equipment and the member is not associated with any case, it is supposed to be returned. Yes or no?” Wasserman said.

The Chief responds, “Yes. Unless it is involved in an ongoing investigation,”
