Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin said this week at the Seahawks headquarters in Renton about free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick: “No doubt he’ll have a job rather quickly” … just not here!
After disrespecting the National Anthem all last season, the 49er’s Quarterback Colin Kaepernick sparked an NFL boycott and made himself unemployable!
Seattle is the latest to pass over Colin Kaepernick – gee I wonder why? Seattle even passed on Colin as a backup, favoring Austin Davis, who took backup reps on the Seahawks’ practice field. Lest you think Davis is any good – here’s a description from The Olympian:
… “Davis looked very much like what he was on Tuesday: In the second day of his fourth team in six years.” In other words, he sucks but they would rather have him than the veteran and flag disrespecting Kaepernick. The 49ers fired him last season and now as a free agent, not one NFL team has shown any real interest.
I stated last year: “I have a feeling that he will not find employment easily as he is not really a good player in the first place and he has made a mess for the NFL.”
I kinda thought so! No wonder a few days ago he said he would not take a knee in protest this season! Too late buddy!!
The Mercury News states that “some teams ‘genuinely hate him’”. They give three reasons that he will not find a job:
First, some teams genuinely believe that he can’t play. They think he’s shot. I’d put that number around 20 percent.
Second, some teams fear the backlash from fans after getting him. They think there might be protests or (President) Trump will tweet about the team. I’d say that number is around 10 percent. Then there’s another 10 percent that has a mix of those feelings.
Third, the rest genuinely hate him and can’t stand what he did [kneeling for the national anthem]. They want nothing to do with him. They won’t move on. They think showing no interest is a form of punishment. I think some teams also want to use Kaepernick as a cautionary tale to stop other players in the future from doing what he did.

Kaepernick really made a mess with his stupid antics!
Colin Kaepernick and his faux protest cost the 49ers $$Millions of dollars!
The NFL was forced to Refund Advertisers Because of Historic Low Viewership!
Monday Night Football hit its lowest viewership EVER as the protests have escalated!
In fact, the NFL’s Monday Night Football lost almost half it’s viewership in 2 weeks!
Colin Kaepernick, you blew it! I think you have seen the end of what could have been a productive career…you hate what this country stands for? Well you just lost what this country stands for! Opportunity!
It wasn’t even a real protest. It was a lazy 3-minute antic! Hope it was worth it Colin!
