A certifiable psychopathic spree killer who carved 666 backwards right into his own forehead has been sentenced to death for killing four people in a barbarous Nebraska shooting spree.
Nikko Jenkins, was in court to receive his sentencing, and showed zero emotion as the court found it necessary to hand him the death penalty sentence on Tuesday for the murders.
This guy’s crazy didn’t stop there. When he was in prison, he once sliced through his tongue to give it the appearance of a snake…He then did the same thing to his penis, which needed 27 stitches to fix.
Truly this guy has psychological problems.
The Daily Mail dove into his background:
He also carved ‘666’ into his forehead in 2015 but used a mirror so the numbers came out backwards. Jenkins pleaded no contest to the murder charges in 2014 but his sentencing has been delayed because of concerns about his mental state.
His defense psychiatrist said Jenkins suffers from schizophrenia and perhaps a bipolar disorder, while his lawyers tried to argue his self mutilation was proof of a deteriorating mental state. State psychiatrists have repeatedly testified that he is faking psychosis.
Jenkins went on a killing spree just 11 days after he was released from prison in August 2013 where he had been serving a 10 year sentence for two carjackings.
He shot and killed Juan Uribe-Pena and Jorge Cajiga-Ruizon using a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun. Their bodies were found inside a pickup truck in southeast Omaha. Eight days later, Jenkins and his sister killed Curtis Bradford, a one-time prison acquaintance.
Jenkins pulled Andrea Kruger from her SUV as she drove home from work on August 21 and shot her four times before speeding off in her vehicle.
Jenkins had insisted an Egyptian god ordered him in a foreign language to kill the four as human sacrifices.
Jenkins was ultimately found competent to stand trial and allowed to represent himself for much of it. He was then allowed in 2014 to plead no contest to the murder charges.
Just last year, the people of Nebraska saw it fit to bring back the death penalty, and Jenkins is the first to head to the chamber since it’s been reinstated. It was back in 1997 that the last execution in Nebraska was carried out by the electric chair.
When it came down to it, the judicial panel had to choose between sentencing Jenkins to death, or to serve out the remainder of his pathetic life in prison. The judges noted the atrocious nature of the murders he committed and claimed that even though he suffered from metal illness, he knew exactly what he was doing, and the harm it would cause his victims.
The mother of one of Jenkins’ victims wept softly as she left the courtroom on Tuesday right after the sentencing was passed. Velita Glasgow, the mother of Curtis Bradford, believed that closure had finally come with sentencing.
‘It’s time for me to heal. I’m ready to put this behind me.’
