New York City Comrad Bill de Blasio is a disaster of a mayor. Anyway you slice it, the quality of life for New York City has plummeted. It’s no mystery why, either.
De Blasio is a communist. Yes, A communist. I don’t care what his supporters feel like covering up, because when you support a communist regime like the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua back in the 1980’s…You’re a communist. AS with communist, they are liars.
The mayor has been the butt face of criticism specifically for his calling for New Yorkers to let go of the past and start espousing more sustainable habits in the wake of President Trump’s withdrawal from the do nothing Paris Climate Agreement.
But De Blasio, like every single one of his elitist climate fear mongers, doesn’t seem to believe that those same phony rules apply to him. He drives to YMCA gym in Park Slope, Brooklyn – 12 miles away from Gracie Mansion – over the gym that is only half a mile from him.
From Daily Mail:
On a WNYC radio show he appears weekly, he declared: ‘Everyone in our own life needs to change our habits to start protecting the Earth.’
But he was stopped in his tracks when a New Yorker confronted him about his non- environmentally-friendly gym routine.
‘How about you stepping up your game and leading by example [by]getting out of your SUV armada?’ said caller, Charles Komanoff, an experienced energy-policy analyst and an environmental activist.
De Blasio retorted and said he drove to the gym using a Hybrid, an electric energy-efficient car – although his security drives behind him with a gas-guzzling SUV.
‘The issue is not cheap symbolism,’ the mayor said in response. ‘I wish my life was like everyone else’s, but it’s not, for obvious reasons. But again, the issue is not cheap symbolism here. The issue is, are we going to take action? Are we going to change the way things are done?’
While Comrad de Blasio has zero problem pushing his bogus policies that hurt the middle class and the poor, and do nothing to protect the environment – he feels comfortable wiggling his way out of his own responsibility to not be a hypocrite.
Another point of contention is his lack of use of for the subway system. You would think pooling transportation would be a must for such a believer in the carbon ‘poison’ that humans produce…Nope! Komanoff also didn’t pull punches when addressing the mayor’s travelling habits.
According to the New Yorker:
‘If you need to go to the Park Slope Y five days a week rather than a gym near you, why don’t you take mass transit or even once in a while, ride a bike like the vast majority of your fellow New Yorkers so you will know how we are suffering under a transit system?’
So how can a guy so disconnected from the ‘little’ people of America, even understand that his policies and elitist personality don’t mesh with us?
New Yorker continued:
‘[We] need a voice and we don’t have one,’ he said. ‘It’s harder for the mayor to become the voice when he doesn’t use the system.’
