You’re Fired! CNN Drops Kathy Griffin from Role in New Year’s Coverage over Trump Beheading Photo!

As most Democrats, including the Clintons, severely chastise Kathy Griffin’s Trump beheading photo, CNN has fired Kathy Griffin from their annual New Year’s Eve program, which she co-hosted with anchor Anderson Cooper.

“We found what she did disgusting and offensive,” CNN said in a statement Tuesday.

First it was an ‘evaluation,’

“We are pleased to see she has apologized and asked that the photos be taken down. We are evaluating our New Year’s Eve coverage and have made no decisions at this point.”

Then they tweeted:

Breitbart reports:

A picture from the photo shoot — conducted by Griffin and Los Angeles-based artist Tyler Shields — surfaced online Tuesday morning, setting off a firestorm on social media. While some liberals defended Griffin, others condemned the photograph. Chelsea Clinton called the photo “vile and wrong.”

Griffin initially defended herself after the photo surfaced, but then later apologized profusely in a video posted on Twitter.

“I sincerely apologize,” she said. “I’m a comic. I cross the line. I move the line and then I cross it. I went way too far. The image is way too disturbing.”

Griffin has co-hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live broadcast every January since 2007, along with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.

But even Cooper tweeted that he was offended by her actions.

Cooper and Griffin have co-hosted CNN’s ‘New Year’s Eve Live’ since 2007.

There is funny, not so funny, and crosses a serious line. The 1st Amendment guarantees free speech, for even the most vile, but it does not guarantee against consequences.

The Secret Service has opened an investigation on Griffin and rightly so. Her advertisers will run and rightly so.

The President called her out about how her consequences effected 11- year-old Barron. She abused Barron with her actions.

Griffin may make a comeback at some point, but it is obvious that she just really made a dent in that career that will be a long time repairing.

Kathy Griffin has apologized, and I hate to question anyone’s sincerity, but she had to be told by millions that this was wrong?

“I’m a comic,” she said. “I cross the line. I move the line, then I cross it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it.”
She said she is asking celebrity photographer Tyler Shields to take down the photo.
“I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far,” she said in the post on Tuesday. “I made a mistake and I was wrong.”

I don’t tweet often, but I did.

People in a civilized society are supposed to have some resemblance and understanding between right and wrong.

Leave Trump out of this…

We have people all over the world being beheaded by terrorists!!! Did she not think about their families? Has she yet thought about that? Is she only apologizing for crossing the line about the President?

Is she only sorry about this…or is she really evaluating the low standard she has to have in her head as to do this in the first place.

I think a public apology to Donald Trump and family are in order. I think Kathy Griffin needs to re-evaluate…a lot…soon.
