Tim Allen is one of the good ones left in Hollywood who isn’t going to back down to the liberal agenda that has been plaguing it for years now. He is one of the few conservatives still left there (if you don’t count all the closet conservatives). So when his show was cancelled by ABC despite the high ratings it was receiving, the question that was begging to be answered was…why? The political aspect of the whole ordeal has not gone unnoticed by the right.
If the executives down at ABC thought the controversy around this cancellation was going to die down, they are about to find out that they are dead wrong. ABC network now faces two very massive petitions and a boycott that picked up momentum quicker than expected. Even a sitting governor has released a surprising but welcomed statement of support for Tim Allen after this all went down.
The petition is found on Change.org and has already collected 100,000 signatures after it’s launch on Friday in this petition they state:
“Last Man Standing is a show that appeals to a broad swath of Americans who find very few show that extol the virtues with which they can identify; namely conservatives values.”
“Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly shoving liberal ideals down the throats of the viewers. And sadly, that is likely the real reason the show has been canceled,”
Now according the Washington Examiner there has been a similar petition that is going on at PetitionCongress.org and it is demanding a congressional investigation.
“With a plethora of ultra-liberal shows available on television, this show stood out from the rest and motivated conservatives who voted for President Trump,” the petition read. “Please demand that Congress investigate whether LMS was canceled for political reasons.”

These petitions are not only going for the show to be reinstated, they also want someone to pay for the injustice of it all.
“The intent of this petition/boycott is to attempt to get ABC to renew the show. With that in mind, I will no longer be watching any ABC shows. I have cancelled the DVR settings for the other ABC shows that I regularly watch,” the Change.org petition reads. “If you want to help try to save ‘Last Man Standing,’ I encourage you to do the same.”
Currently there are over 100,000 names, and that is a lot in just five days. The boycotts that have hit the ground running are turning out to be SERIOUS business. These past 2 years we have seen the power that boycotts from the right have had, just ask Target, right? Then you have ESPN, the NFL, and a few others that have caused hemorrhaging like no other.
Now the left is trying to put “Last Man Standing” to rest? Well I guarantee that is not going to be an easy task, the right is not going to put up with that quietly. This just might cost ABC far more than they ever have thought possible.
Hindsight is going to kick them in the butt with this one.
