When a small dog regards himself as the protector of an enormous elephant, the two become inseparable.
This is where animals deserve to be, out in the wild, enjoying the life that they were meant to live.
What a wonderful thing to see true friendship of two very different kinds, it is inspiring in so many ways, seems like every other species on this planet has got it, and us humans have not got a clue!
Animals have always given humanity indeed.
The dog is ecstatic just by being beside the elephant. Weird friendship right there! Friendship Goals! lol
This is one of the most adorable animal friendships that we’ve seen in a long time. Bubbles the African elephant and Bella the black Labrador, both residents at the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina, have become the best of friends, and can often be seen playing in the water together. Pictures have been published of them playing fetch in the water – Bubbles throws the ball with her trunk while Bella jumps off of Bubbles’ head or back and swims to retrieve the ball.
Somebody get these two their own TV show.
Bubbles, a 9,000-pound elephant, and Bella, the Labrador retriever, are the very best of friends. They live together at the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina. And luckily, the park has documented some of the pair’s adorable interspecies playdates.
Sometimes, Bubbles and Bella go for walks together. Other times, they go for long swims. At all times, we are completely enthralled by the two of them.
Bubbles was adopted by the safari in 1983, according to the video above. Then, in 2007, a contractor hired to build Bubbles a swimming pool abandoned puppy Bella at the park’s preserve. And so, a beautiful friendship was born.
