A High Profile White House Staffer Was Let Go! See Who It Is!

The White House is getting shaken up a bit. Deputy White House Chief of Staff, Katie Walsh is no longer going to be a White House staffer. Instead of working in the Trump administration, Walsh will instead be working for a pro-Trump, non-profit organization and the Republican National Committee. This is not surprising as she is a close confidant of Reince Priebus who formerly headed the Republican National Committee.

Walsh had told Breitbart News that she was responsible for the president’s schedule as well as coordinating his activities. She also conducted these duties for people such as Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner.

In a former interview with Breitbart News just last month she said the following to reporters,

As you know, we’ve got a lot of senior folks in the White House who have a great ability to help push the president’s agenda and message and that’s Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, KellyAnne Conway, and others, but there is a logistical piece of that that has to get implemented and so I try and help with that.

So I try and do what I can to make sure the right hand is talking to the left hand and everyone knows what everyone is doing, and there is a cohesive operation or effort to make sure, whatever we’re doing, that nothing happens in a silo if you will. So even if Reince is with the President working on something, and Jared is working on an issue related to trade, and Steve is working on an issue related to immigration or something, we try and make sure everyone is still on the same page and working together and moving together as fast as we can.”

However, Walsh has been accused of leaking information to the press. Government News editor Charles Johnson said the following about this allegation,

“Everyone knows not to talk to her in the White House unless you want to see it in the press. The only question is whether or not she’s doing it at the behest of Reince Priebus or if she’s doing it to advance herself in DC media circles.”

But White House staffers Priebus, Kushner and Bannon all defended Walsh despite the rumors she was let go for being treacherous. Jim Acosta went to social media to tweet about Walsh’s status with her high profile Republican colleagues,

People have been speculating that Reince Priebus will be let go from the administration. But despite the rumors they appear to be nothing more than just that, rumors. Inside sources indicate that Priebus is doing just fine and is not going anywhere anytime soon. His close relationship with House Speaker Paul Ryan could continue to bode well for the Trump administration, as they seek to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. Thus, a firing of Priebus is highly unlikely. It is nothing more than lies perpetuated by the liberal mainstream media to try and divide Republicans.
