Well, well, well….would you lookie here! Following the lies of the Democrats is like being in a local greased pig contest at the county fair. You may get a little slimy in the process, a pig may squeal every now and then, but it’s really hard to catch them.
As George Bernard Shaw said, “I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.”
Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have been pushing their narrative, that it was the Russians that colluded with Trump, and THAT’S how he won the presidential election. Never mind that Hillary Clinton lied on so many different levels it makes me gag just thinking about her as President. Democrats want us to believe that it was the Russians who helped Trump win the election, just as much as they wanted us to believe it was a video that set off Benghazi….(and we all know THAT wasn’t the case, don’t we).
H/T Gateway Pundit:
Now, it looks like the “greased pig” has finally been caught. Former Assistant Defense Secretary under the Obama administration, Evelyn Farkas admitted that the Obama administration was trying to “collect as much intelligence as possible on the Trump administration.”
Funny thing is, when she said that on MSNBC, Evelyn Farkas wasn’t even in the government anymore. What’s up with THAT?!
Evelyn Farkas: “…Frankly speaking the people on The Hill..get as much information as you can. Get as much intelligence as you can before President Obama leaves the administration because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior people who left so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy…
Ummm that the Trump folks if they found out how we knew what we knew about the Trump staff dealing with Russians that they would try to compromise the sources and methods meaning that we would no longer have access to that intelligence.”
This lady, Evelyn Farkas served as an advisor to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential campaign and would have been in Clinton administration if Hillary had become President.
It’s no big deal that she had access to information on the Trump campaign while advising his opponent, Hillary Clinton, right? Nothing to see here, move along…little sheeple.
The fake Russian narrative is to distract from Obamagate.
Farkas said the reason for that was, “We have very good intelligence on Russia,” and she “very worried because not enough was coming out into the open.”
That would appear to indicate the real reason the Obama administration was feverishly collecting and sharing the classified information was NOT for national security purposes, but for political reasons.
Citing a report compiled by the “NSA, FBI and CIA, with my office, the Director of National Intelligence,” Clapper answered, “There was no evidence of that included in our report.”
Trump critic Michael Morell, the former acting CIA director under Obama, said, “On the question of the Trump campaign conspiring with the Russians here, there is smoke, but there is no fire, at all.”
It apparently had no foreign intelligence value and no evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump team.
Nunes, R-Calif, announced he had seen classified information collected by the Obama administration that consisted of:
“Details about U.S. persons associated with the incoming administration – details with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value – (which) were widely disseminated in intelligence community reporting.
“I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked (revealed.)
“To be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or any investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team.”
Evelyn Farkas – “get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration.”
That would appear to raise serious questions about the legality of sharing classified information so widely, as well as whether she was, in effect, facilitating the illegal leaking of classified information.
That may have been answered Wednesday when CIRCA reported that an executive order signed by Obama during the end of his tenure allowing 16 agencies, in addition to the CIA, NSA and FBI, to view classified material resulted in top Obama aides “routinely” reviewing “intelligence reports gleaned from the National Security Agency’s incidental intercepts of Americans abroad.”
The paper also said the rule changes allowed “NSA intercepts of Americans to reach political hands.”
Here’s how talk-radio king Rush Limbaugh described the significance of the CIRCA story on his show Wednesday:
“What this story is about is how Obama changed the rules on incidental wiretapping. In other words, if NSA, CIA are targeting foreign actors, and that surveillance picks up Americans, such as (former National Security Adviser Gen. Michael) Mike Flynn, Obama changed the rules to share the transcripts of that intel with his political people.
“(Former National Security Adviser) Susan Rice, (top Obama adviser) Valerie Jarrett, John Brennan, opening, or I should say expanding, the universe of possible leakers to the media about what was going on.
“So an Obama late rules change, two now, sharing intel with 16 different intel agencies, including foreign governments, and now opening the door for NSA intercepted intelligence of Americans to reach the political operatives in his administration.”
As Sean Hannity said on FoxNews the other night, how did this woman, Dr. Farkas, who wasn’t even employed by the Obama administration have access to this information or even KNOW there was surveillance going on? Didn’t she resign in 2015? Well, she WAS Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense for Russian/Ukraine/Eurasia, but not when THIS news came out.
Was someone giving her information….Obama? Clinton? Or even Sen. McCain? Farkas did serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee from 2001-2008. Isn’t Sen. McCain on that committee? How about former V.P. Sen.Tim Kaine and Sen. Elizabeth Warren?
In addition, Farkas has “advised three secretaries of defense on Russia policy,” according to a senior defense official quoted in Politico. She has served on the Council on Foreign Relations and the Senate Armed Services Committee, among others, and was executive director of the Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism in 2008-2009.
Seems Farkas must have something. She’s been tough on House Intel Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and former Trump campaign advisor Paul Manafort. She’s also not a supporter of Judge Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court. In fact she supports the Senate Democrats fillibuster. Go figure.
Let’s hope President Trump let’s the “greased pig” squeal for awhile before he makes the final catch.
Here’s Mark Levin’s take on Evelyn Farkas:
